Medium is organic soil with extra perlite and added dolomite lime and nutes will be organic as well. Fish emulsions for veg and I will throw in some guano for flower. I may go with Fox Farms Tiger Bloom just because it has always been good to me in the past, although it is "natural" and not "organic. However, I will probably stick with simple organic tea. I have a 1-1-1 compost for tea as well. I will be using Molasses throughout as well.

Light atm is a 150W HPS, but will be getting a 400 watt hps within the next month.

Ventilation is a 6" duct fan @ 240CFM and basic aluminum ducting. Along with an 8inch oscillating fan. Intake is a 8"x4" passive intake. As you will see in one of the pics there is a positive or negative? whichever pressure so ventilation is moving smoothly.

Clones were transplanted into standard party cups and will be going into 3-5 gallon (Not sure yet) pots in 1-2 weeks followed by 2-3 weeks veg then flipped to 12/12. I switched the clones to 18/6 today and they will stay there until I flip to 12/12.

I will be simple pinch topping for training if I do any at all. I may just let em grow out because I don't really care about yield and having one fat cola with a few satellites sounds cool and obviously simpler.

First and foremost, I don't care about yield. I will get more than enough regardless. I care more about "Quality" So please focus your advice and comments on that avenue. I welcome comments, advice and criticism. Again, just realize I don't care about getting more yield.

That being said, enjoy and this should be fun.

Got some seeds coming and im very excited. Wasn't going to but some good karma came my way so here weeeeeeee go. I have 1 "Early Blueberry", 1 Critcal Kush, 1 Critical Mass CBD (Excited to try this out as its a CBD strain that's supposed to be 1:1) 1x Purple Bud and 1x old school Diesel. I got a 400 watt hps/MH with a sun system air cooled hood coming my way so shit should be fun. Idk though, 7 plants gonna be way to much for 1 400. I will most likely just choose 2 of the 5 to go so it doesn't get super crowded. Although on a positive note, other than the Diesel and purple bud they are mainly indicas. Critical Kush being a pure indica and obviously the Early Blueberry.

What would yall like to see me grow? I am definitely gonna run the Critical Mass CBD if for no other reason than ive yet to grow any of the 1:1 CBD to ThC strains. I don't wanna grow another sativa dom because that's mainly what I have right now to smoke.

SO out of the two which of these would you like to see?

Early Blueberry or Critical Kush?

Transplanted the Permafrost and Bubble Kush in to 3/4gal nursery pots about 10 days ago and Seeds and all seeds popped except Critical Mass CBD. Dixie cups are Back right is Early Blueberry, back left is Purple bud, Front right is Critical Kush, Front left is Diesel. Purple bud and diesel were freebies. All are fem except purple bud. The soil they are sitting on is part of final mix for 3 gallon grow bags. I mixed it up with dolomite lime and watered with molasses once afterwards and have let it sit about 3 weeks so far to wake the microbes up and let the lime mix with soil. I've kept the two clones short on purpose to try and make it a little more even when flowered. Obviously there will be height differences throughout but shouldn't be to bad. I'll be transplanting all into there final pots in a week or so. All are currently in jiffy seed starter soil and I've been giving fish emulsions, molasses, 1-1-1 compost tea and humic acid twice in the last three watering's. I don't know exact amounts as I eyeball everything. Girls are under a 400w 4100k MH. Temps stay in mid to low 70's. I'm watering with tap water that I leave out for couple days for chlorine to evaporate. I'll update after I transplant. Nothing exciting about this phase.

All girls got transplanted into 3gal grow bags. Soil is organic compost, perlite, vermiculite, humus, bone and blood meal, sea shells, crushed up sushi seaweed wraps, corn meal and happy frog kickstart 343 granular fert. Watered in with basic compost tea (EWC and BSM) then alaska fish emulsions, FF big bloom, BSM and humic acid added to finished tea then watered in. I have also started foiler feeding with compost tea after fresh batch and fish emulsions when no fresh compost tea.
I will most likely flip to 12/12 later this week. I'd like to let BB and Crit Kush get bigger but they are just growing much slower than other four and already have size difference enough. Pretty much trained the two clones enough as it is and am ready to just let em go. They have shit loads of tops. 4 seed plants will all be untrained for one nice cola. Assuming the PB is female.
I fucking love organics and compost tea lol. Couldnt smell shit but soon as I xplanted em into that hot homemade soil and hit em with fresh ACT the whole basement smells. Cant wait for flower dankness. And really excited about the Permafrost as ww and tw are two of my favs and this is best of both.

Also the Early BB has the bb smell already so fuck ya to that. Glad I won that lottery! I love bb pot smell so much. So that's where I'm at now.

Deuces~

Forgot to mention that cup with ziplock over it is a single clone I took from permafrost cuz it had one shoot 3" above canopy and instead of tossing like I've been doing I decided to show my clone technique. I just cut stem with knife at about 60 degrees. I dip bottom 1-2" of stem in aloe vera gel. Reg party cup filled with Jiffy seed starting soil watered in with superthrive and big bloom. Also foiler sprayed with ACT. Slits are cut into bag for air flow.

Thank you Dirty Nerd. I really enjoyed reading your 50+page journal. Good to see the scientific and organized side of things in contrast to my wild west just let the shit grow approach lol. I had to remove my tub because the 3 gals were to big for it so I got em on the bottom of the tent so a little runoff runs onto the pull out bottom part. Although I will just pull em out a few times and wipe it down, no biggie.

Green Lungz, thank you for stopping in bud. Not sure on the yield as I am not concerned with it and am definitely not growing to that end. Gonna flip to flower a lot earlier than I would if I wanted to pull weight. The two bushy clones should fill out nicely, but im planning on just pulling a single fat cola from the other four. The Blueberry is going to do poorly I think considering they are so finicky and its so small at flower, but o well. Even if I just pulled 7 grams off it I would be happy.

To put in perspective how little I smoke, I am still working on the 5 grams I bought from a dispensary here in Denver when I first moved here. I almost never smoke more than 2-3 hits a day and usually only 3-4 days week. I just hate paying $15-20/g for subpar bud and I have always loved to garden and grow shit. Going back to my roots of tilling up fresh virgin ground in Alaska. Talk about some serious fucking work lol. But o my god the dirt smelled so amazing.

All that being said, I can't help my self and just love growing great organic bud and usually end up giving a bunch away to buddies who smoke a lot more than me. havn't met to many people here in Denver yet cuz ive been busy working grinding my ass off on Bovada. Finally some good games going in the US on online poker since Black Friday. Winning Poker Network had the first Sunday Million in USA since Black Friday a while back and having one every month or two now so its really cool. $500 buy in but easy to satty into.

Anyways, enough talk about work lol. Time to talk about my next project I was inspired to do reading around here. Ive been reading random 20+page journals ive come across from different sections of forums and one I came across in Advanced cultivation got me thinking. A guy in there who is big into organics talked about letting plants go much longer than normal to increase healing cannabinoids. How pure sativas should be left for 20+ weeks and indicas 12-14 weeks ect... I figured what the hell it cant hurt to check it out. Since I don't smoke much and am not going harvest to harvest I decided to give it a go. I just put in a good size order at Midweek Song. I got some singles to harvest normally and some multiples to grow out 2-3 of the same strain to harvest at what is normally considered ripe on their page, I will then let the remaining 1-2 go as long as possible.

All these will be grown 12/12 from seed. I may veg until they have there first true 3 finger leaves, but probably just 12/12 from seed sog style in 1 gal grow bags. seeing as I only got a 400 watt and a 150 watt. Don't feel like dropping $200 on quality 600w even though I think temps would be fine cuz im running low 70's now with my 400. Although with a 600 I think id need bigger fan. Plus I don't want more than a 10 degree swing between lights on and lights off and don't wanna fuck with heaters and shit.

Heres the lineup I got. RIU is lagging as I type so I will post details on strains in a minute so I don't lose all ive written so far lol. African buzz and Mama Thai are the two Im most excited to let go 20 weeks.

Ata Tundra

Product Description
Details

This F1 hybrid is one of the most interesting in our seed range. It is a cross of two pure lines coming from different geographic regions not very well-known in the cannabis world. One parent comes from Alaska, home of the famous Matanuska Thunderfuck. This line is pure indica and shows good resistance to frost thanks to its origin. The other parent comes from Kazakhstan, a wide region that extends from north Afghanistan between Uzbekistan and Russia, neighbouring China in the east. This parent is similar to the Afghani Kush, with a lemony smell typical of the Citral of Pakistan. Growing Ata Tundra you can see many of the characteristics of both these parent plants. Our hybrid is 100% indica. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation. It is our quickest flowering strain; finishing in around 45 days or outdoors towards the end of September. Its optimum THC level is around 20%. It produces large, lemon scented compact buds. The hardiness of this plant coupled with its early maturation and ease of growth make it perfect for guerrilla cultivation techniques.

African Buzz
Product Description
Details

African genetics are some of the most popular and enjoyed around the world, due to their exotic taste and mesmerising effects. African Buzz is a variation of the Malawi Gold Seedsman used to offer in previous years. It is a wonderful 100% sativa strain originating in Malawi. Our African Buzz was a particular phenotype that we really enjoyed giving us an immense cerebral buzz. We crossed this with a fast growing Malawi Gold father and African Buzz was created. African Buzz takes 11 weeks to flower during which its typical structure of long branches begins to show. It is a good yielder and is best grown indoors and in greenhouses, unless grown in warmer climates with no chance of frost until December e.g. Southern Italy and Spain. Any sativa aficionados will appreciate the buzzy and exciting effect our African strain produces.

Mama Thai
Product Description
Details

This is one of our most impressive sativas not for yield but for taste and effect. Our breeders have continually selected the most early maturing, and vigorous growing phenotypes from their Thai genetics to help shorten the usually very lengthy Thai sativas flowering period. At the same time they have aimed to maintain the other beneficial characteristics, and we are more than happy with the results. The optimum THC content of this plant lies around 22% and this gives a clear, strong cerebral high. Beware this can sometimes seem a little hallucinogenic in strong doses. This strain now flowers in 11 weeks so is more suitable for indoors than out. Although it will grow happily in greenhouses, that will protect it from any early frosts. It will also grow outside in warmer climates such as around the Mediterranean. This plant can grow large when allowed and produces light fluffy sativa buds favoured more by the connoisseur than by cultivators growing for yield.

You might be overcooking them. I'd stop the FF bloom stuff for sure..
Why do you say that? Ff bigbloom is only something like .01-.03-.07. That and fish emulsions are only ferts I been giving them other than ACT and stuff to support the microbes.

Put the purple bud outside just to see what happens cuz was getting to crowded in tent. Girls are looking good other than the BB, its still a lil yellowish green. Not near as dark green as Id like. Im gonna give her some extra fish emulsions next watering with the usual ACT. I watered last night with approx 2 1/2 gal water and 2cups organic milk 2-4TB mollasses TB or so organic yogurt for lots of iciluss bacteria and 2oz or so humic acid. I also foiler sprayed with 50/50 of that cut with perrier mineral water. Foiler spraying intermittenly with perrier water and fish emulsions/ff big bloom and then ACT. Bubble Kush and Permafrost have lots of bud sites and in full flower. Other 3 have yet to throw pistils or alt nodes. The Diesel has 9 finger leaves. I seem to have gotten a sativa pheno for the early BB which is interesting. Every BB I've grown had more indica features so I'm excited to try the sat pheno. Took the glass off my hood today as temps were staying around 71-73 so no need to keep using it as I'm just losing uv light and lumens. Gonna top dress later this week with a layer of warm castings, mychorizea, bone meal and azmotite with a thick layer of vermiculite and diamotaceous earth ontop. Smell is crazy...whole basement reeks and there not even budding yet lol. I love it. Its great to not have to mask that smell.

I just think your soil might be a bit hot, just going by what I'm seeing. But I would cut the FF bloom stuff becuase I feel what you have in your soil and the teas would be enough no?

I agree, I only use ff BB in ACT when I make it. Otherwise its just water and food for microbes.
