Interesting and new to me.They will be transplanted tomorrow so I will try not feeding this evening. There were only a couple drops of water in the bottom of the cup when I took the pic
I just put a hole at the first line of the cup and filled perlite even with it. Probably could have used more coco on top, but I didn't so it now looks like I went half and half. I'm a noobInteresting and new to me.
I must confess, I've never seen plants being grown with so much pure perlite at the bottom.

This is what I went by for my coco prep. Only did a 2 hour soak in calmag and not 8 hours like the video says. Guess it will be tomorrow before I can transplant. Hydrating a new batch nowPrep.

Filter out the fines.
I learned it needs to be fully hydrated during buffering.....actually soaked thru and thru. Soaked 12+ hours. Stirring occasionally.
