A buddy of mine tried the NUTS and said that at 20mL/gal and the ppm was increased by 100ppm at 0.5 conversion. Clueless on what is in there that is causing the increase in ppm?

Input on this anyone? JB?

Grapefruit Haze and Casey Jones have been on Shooting Powder for a half a week.

Grape Romulan and Chem Dawg D have been on Top Booster for 5 days. It is ready to be switched over to Shooting Powder.

Shooting Powder
I mixed the shooting powder in half gallon luke warm RO, after letting it fizz I topped the gallon with RO.

They suggest a 64g sachet per 25 gallon. So according to the direction. I would be using (3785mL/25gal) 150mL/gal. For the last two weeks they suggest to double the dose of Shooting Powder. 90mL/gal adds roughly about 0.35 EC.

I am using 90-120mL/gal, I don't see my self increasing the dose too much, its is quite strong, I don't think it is as strong as MOAB or Big Up.

I went back and read through the last page and couldn't find what nutrient you are talking about at 20 ml/gal. A buddy tried what nutes? ;)
When I first used the SP I used half dose beacuase I was a little spooked to add the full dose, but the last two times I added the full suggested dose after the first week with no ill effects. I am not sure there was much of difference though from the 1/2 dose I used the first time. I had the best yeild from my first round off the pk, so there may be something to the lighter doses.
Bro, your plants look so healthy man. I feel privileged to be watching you evolve into a "master grower". I mean you are spot on with every strain at every point durring the grow. It is really amazing to watch. Isn't it hard to believe it was only a year ago that we were both learning how to grow? Anyway, I am very impressed B with your talents.

Love that last pic of the Casey Bender.......looks almost extra terestrial!!!
D, what up bro. Thanks man, I don't know why but the Europeans really enjoy the canopy shots a lot.

Thank you my good friend. Talk about evolving, you first grow was so damn sick that you didn't even leave much room to evolve. I haven't tasted your PK but seriously I have never seen PK that good.

Sorry about the confusion I meant the product by Mad Farmer called N.U.T.S.
It is a humic/fulvic product and there is nothing on the label about any salts so I don't know what caused the ppm increase. May be it has some micro elements but why won't they mention that.

This round I am using the lowest amount of nutirents, I still push them and try to find the sweet spot by increasing the dose a bit till I notice very slight nute burn on the tips. I have been able to find the sweet spot at very low dosages, around a final EC of ~1.3. Your input on the SP was very valuable, we are on the same page about low dosages.

Are you going resolve to the regimen of the first round or you planning on using some Bloom products again. It kind of sucks that you spent the extra money on the nutes and they didn't out do your original H&G. Although I using low dosages I am using a lot of products, last I counted I have 15 different things I mix togather, so I am thinking some of the products might just be a snake oil not doing shit, hopefully I can eventually weed them out.

Oh, I have no experience to share on that. I do agree however on the lower mute doses vs higher. I am going to run the phat and ooze with the h&g because I bought those big damnp
bottles. If I didn't have them though I would go back to the h&g only. Hey, when I look back at my first round, it would support the "simpler is sometimes better when it comes to nutes" theory. I am starting to think there are a lot of snake oils out there. I think a good a/b is the most important part and IMHO h&g have that part down.

I agree with hooked that Cd and CJ look very similar. If I had to pick a favorite at this point it would be the GF. It looks like it is developing into a very dense bud formation, which is always a good thing. They all look great though man.

Its all good though, I think your current round is gonna easily out do the first run. As you said the lights are closer due to the CO2, that alone should make a big difference.

I am using Canna A/B this round, I was going with either Canna or H&G for the base but as advised by jberry, the H&G has a bit extra K.

Canna Coco A/B 5-4-3
H&G Cocos A/B 10-4-10

I am a bit confused by that as the ratios are quite different yet they both seem to work fine.

Yo yo, it has been hot as hell lately. It ain't snowing any where but on the plants.
Thanks my man.

BTW trimming in never ever fun, it is the worst part of the whole thing.

Bender, you dont use the moab at the same time as the shooting powder right?
Never tried MOAB bro. I don't even have any on hand. I know that shooting powder and MOAB are both strong PK boosters, and aren't meant to be mixed together.

damn bender! are the chem dawg d and casey jones related? there pistils looks very similar i find

props to you for an amazing grow(s)

Thanks bro, appreciate it. Well the close analysis of CJ and CD do reveal some similarities in the cluster structure, possibly due to the fact that Sour D contributes CJ's gene pool.

CD and CJ's possible similarities are due to Sour D.

Yeah GFH is growing like a beast.

Too true Bender, too true....its also not fun when you have no rubber gloves, and you have slashed your hands to fek ripping up reeds....ever splashed cleaning alcohol onto an open wound?

Ohh yeah, bender has had his fair share of cut, lol I used gloves last round and I still managed to get a cut.

Hydrogen Peroxide is my choice, it doesn't burn like shit like isopropyl.

To be honest, I think everyone gets through the trimming process by using the excitement of harvest.

Passthatsh!t23, what kind of process do you use to trim, may be you use a better process to trim.

For sure, the thought of the new jar of sticky urges you to clip clip clip......I actually use a pair of professional hairdressing scissors given to me by my mate who is a Hair stylist....they are pretty comfortable, and nicely pointed enablying you to snip (in a oner preferably)
at the bases of the fan leaves and also the leaves growing from the bud. These things cost him a few hundred euros so pretty stoked he gave me them for nadda....
