Ph levels @ different stages

Hey everyone
Had a question about ph levels I have done my research seems to be some different opinions. Growing in soil so I hear between 6-7 ph. So 6.5 ph is perfect but then I hear at veg to go 6.2 then 6.6 ph in flower due to the type of nutrient intake at different stages Then i Also red different somewhere else
Any help Wud be appreciated on different ph levels at different stages. And does it matter if it’s auto or photo ?

The idea is sound. As far as delivering a minor difference in pH value from Veg to Bloom.

The thing is? Your not attempting to change the soil's pH but to simply deliver a differing pH value in the feed/liquid you deliver to the plant.

I like 6.5 in veg.

I shoot for 6.7 - 6.8 in bloom.

Even if it's straight water for organic SS runs.....

Auto vs. Photo? NO, no difference.

See, it's like this. When you water - The pH of the soil will swing in one direction. As much as over a whole point.
Now as this soil dries back out. The pH will "swing" back to it's "normal" resting point.
By delivering the feed/liquid in differing pH values.
You are "leaning" towards the pH favored by the nutrients used most in those stages.
Increasing the availability of those nutrients by stage...

Iam on day 12 Seedling in 5 gallon pots for my first time and wanted to keep simple since they are autos. So 6.5 for seedling aswell. And any advice on when I can start watering fully til 20 % run off

With soil, you need to be very diligent not to overwater. Go by pot weight, lift up a pot you just watered and compare it to a pot filled with totally dry medium and compare them. Let the pot nearly dry out so the roots stretch out to follow the water, then when you need to water, you wan water around the rim of the pot to encourage roots to stretch too. It takes several weeks of good watering practices to fill out the pot, then you can start regularly watering to runoff without much worry. With PH in soil you don't really need to worry too much about it, UNLESS your starting values are really far off. 6.5-7 going in is fine for the entire run because the soil microbiome and humates will almost immediately adjust that anyway.

So I shud be watering around edges to makes roots follow moisture. Since they only 12 day old seedlings do I start this now. And do I do till run off comes out bottom or can u give an estimate to how much water to use at this age

Just looking for opinions. I grow autos in coco loco. I use giga green 444, giga green 284, bat guano, worm castings & mykros. I have tried this both ways. I have watered everyday & I have watered when dry. I have also ph the water at 5.7-6.5 & I have also watered 6.5- 6.8. I have had mixed results from different strains. They are all grown in 3 gallon air pots , 3gal fabric pots & 3 gal nursery pots. What is everyone's opinion on how often to water & what the ph should be growing in organic ammendments. Some people say the lower ph affects the microbes in the medium. Thanks for the advice. I've been growing indoors for little over a year now but find that I learn more every day. Thanks again.

Really? Why?

Learn to water a metered amount everyday at lights on. Just enough to carry you to the next day.
You'll get better O2 to the roots and it's an easy way to monitor plant needs...

Watering to run off is "oversoaking" your plants. The more you water, the bigger the pH swing and LONGER the pH takes to "return" to the resting point. This can lead to plant problems by pH being out of wack. You will begin to get some blocking and locking.....Not fun.

Anything you over water is also waste of $ in nutrients.... I know, H&G says to but, they're a poorly charted and high P&K boosting wreck of a nutrient line.

Mini guide line for soil plants and what to water for a 24hr period.

Solo's - as needed or about 3-4 TBL
1 gallon - from 1- 1.5 cups
3 gallon - from 2 to 3 cups
5 gallon - 4 - 5 cups

These are all subject to plant size, in the listed container.
At up potting. Use the lowest amount listed and wait for the pot to dry back out before watering again. This is done only twice, then you water what it will take for the 24hr turn over.

For most strains. Your looking at an NPK of 6-1-2 in veg and 4-6-6 in bloom. Some adjustment may be needed for your feed line.

Also, ditch the fabric pots.......Another thing that "cost" more then it helps..

I see your in coco. Personally, coco sucks ass. Too much extra work! I understand your run off thing, more now though....
