Hello all, This is my first time Grow. This is Legal Medical marijuana.

Please help me diagnose what is wrong with my plants. I believe it is PH shock, but I'm not sure.
The PH from the Tap is 8.0 I have added PH down to get a PH of what i think is 5.8-6.5..
I cant afford a digital meter right now.

This is an Ebe-Flow hydro system with a 20 gallon tank. The plants are 3 week old cuttings. I water every 4 hrs for 15 minuets.
Light Cycle is 18 on 6 off.

I'm using CANNA aqua-veg A&B hydro solution.

Could be either I suppose. It's VERY easy to use too much Ph Down. About a drop will completely cure a liter of water. Keeping track of your nutrients?

if you think water is the problem than i suggest using different water. for about a week. i use spring water from the grocery store with no minerals or anything added for enhanced flavor. it is usually around 7ph and most nutes will temporarily drop the ph around the optimal range. if this helps the plants than you need a filter for your home tap water.

bongsmilieDude, you should be using RO water or distilled water, and the leaves burning is your nut mix being too high....but if you use that water out of the tap, you are wasting your money:cry:bongsmilie

I have Put more than a few drops in this TAP water to bring the PH down, The water is from a well, Not city water. I suspect i have put 25 ML of PH down in this solution to bring down to 6.0 ph last night.
Do you all think its my water?

I think its a combination of both, I would get water from a different source, make sure you check ph often after you run your system with new water as it will leach the high ph of your media back into your system, if you find your having to add alot of ph stabilizer stop and change water again as adding ph buffers adds to the total dissolved solids in your reservoir, get a TDS or PPM meter a must have! Also to help your babies bounce back I would add a vitamin B supplement to your water, also try adjusting your waterings to more frequent like 5 mins every half hour or 45 min, they make timers for this. Good luck to you!

Well I bought distilled water with a PH of 7 and it was a lot easier to bring down to 6.0.
I flushed tray with this water first with out the nutrients, than I added nutrients and rebalanced PH . I can allready see a visable differnce. The plants have perked up, and leaves have stretched out from curling under.

Now what to do with the burnt and destroyed leaves, Should I remove them? or leave them alone ?
And thank you for your input fellas, Thank you!

I would leave them alone for a few days, when you start to see new growth I would start removing the "burnt" leaves, the less stress on the girls the better! Best of luck to you!
