PH perfect going in but runoff low? Mag lockout? Need help!

Exact same thing on two plants... Ones an Autofem Critical Jack and the other is a Northern Lights n' Skunk Hybrid. They are both growing in the same medium and have been treated equally with everything from germination to the now "showing sex (female)" autofem. The only difference is once I saw the auto showing her first two pistils she got her first small dose of molasses/h20....

That being said, my fan leaves are dying on the Hybrid... They yellow from the tips at start to the whole fan leaf, till a crumbling death once grown! The PH for the H20 AND the ferts is 6.5 either with or without them. I grow all organically btw, my soil is organic potting soil consisting of nothing but Peat Moss, perlite, a SPRINKLE of fox farm's happy frog and an organic potting mix that holds true to practically the same ingredients.... Its McDonald's Nursery Brand tho just so its known... The runoff of BOTH plants is around 5 on the PH?! Why such a difference and is this causing a lockout of mag or something? Not ENOUGH ferts??

From a chart I read, a mag lockout wont happen if the PH is high or low... Just nuetral. Or something of the sort, maybe I read it wrong? Nonetheless, I need yalls help on what to do. I have neem oil if u think its bugs, hydrated lime, magnesium something (water soluble and can be used to spray on the leaves....

I've already hit the whole box with h20/neem oil (including the soil incase it was bugs and they laid eggs n whatnot). But where do I go from here? Does this thing need lime?? It obviously needs something to raise the PH in the soil I would think... I also have ONE none organic fert that is made by MG called "nutes for plants that love lime! " or some shit. I also have an orchid bloom booster that i used for flowering before i went organic... Pics to follow soon, got to get to laptop!

How your plant look? You really need to post a pic~
My runoff with ffof is 5.8 but the plant look okay
I don't think the runoff is that big of a deal if your
plant look good. But if they don't it could be the peat
moss I thinking that it has a low ph. Just use some ffof!

do not go by the runoff. Take a half a cup of soil and a full cup of water and mix them. Let it sit for 30 mins and test the solution.

They DO NOT look good... The auto is OK but the Hybrid is looking crispy. I said they were crispy! Just take a look at the following pics. And i DID DO what u said, soil, water, sit, measure PH. Same shit, different toilet. So what's the deal? And i USE ffof, its just made by me so i can control it at all times. Hint the organic soil and "FOX FARM'S HAPPY FROG" which is 5-5-5. Half a table spoon per gallon of soil... Happy Frog is made from Ocean and Forrest Organic ferts....

The peat moss thing I'm not really understanding considering I've ALWAYS grown n this medium with NO PROBLEMS. Plenty of drainage with the perlite. Everything seems fine with the PH. So wth is making my Hybrids leaves die from start of growth (tip inwards) and causing the brown spots on the Auto?! I have no where around me that sells cal-mag but the magnesium shit I got has calcium in it and the soil as well (crushed/rotting egg shells) The Guy said at McDonald's Nursery that this should fix both plants problems.... (He's a grower/stoner and my new connect for advice/supplies!) Lol.... Enjoy pics.

BOTH PLANTS ARE FROM SEED TO THIS IN 4 WEEKS AND HAVE BEEN TREATED EQUALLY, BEEN TRANSPLANTED INTO BIGGER DIXIE CUPS ONCE (COULD IT BE THAT THE HYBRID NEEDS MORE POT ROOM??) IM BAFFLED, SEEMS LIKE ITS BOT GETTIN ENOUGH N AND SUCKING IT FROM THE LEAVES, BUT THERE SHOULDNT BE A LOCKOUT ANYWHERE?! IM FUCKIN BAFFLED....

THE AUTOFEM, 80-85 DEGREE DAYS AND 65-70 NIGHTS... JUST BROWN SPOTS. SHOWED ME HER FIRST PISTILS TODAY!!

NOW HERES THE HYBRID, THE YELLOWING DYING LEAVES, THAT ARE EVEN STARTING ON NEW GROWTH ...

The whole key to growing in a peat based mix is adding lime to buffer and keep the pH in the acceptable range. NOT HYDRATED!!!! Dolomite or garden or sweet lime is what you want.

Get it at Lowes or HD or the like. A 40lb bag is under $5. Use 2tbl/gallon of mix, or 1cup/cf of mix. If you are in 3gal pots for example, 6tbl of lime. Best added to the mix before use, but a top dress will work. If you can, scratch it into the surface. Regular waterings will do the rest.

Thanks so much for ur input, I'm going to crack open the lime n scratch it in with a watering! I will SLOWLY introduce it tho.... I will begin with my diluted feedings of "MG - FOR PLANTS THAT LOVE LIME AS WELL NEXT FEEDING"

Topdressing takes week or 2 to work into soil and take effect. I would get some epsom salt(cheap in pharmacy department at walmart) and foliar feed with that to take care of mg def. quickly.

Foilar mag feed has been sprayed.... Epson salt added as well. Thank u so much for ur help. Lime scratched in, will wait two weeks for "lime loving nutes" and Epson salt was used VERY sparingly.

Thanks for posting the pics! I think the problem look like a ph issues
The plant is very ready to transplant into at least a 3 gallon pot of
ffof and don't add a sprinkle of f'ing nothing I would go with a
5 gallon pot myself cause I be using MH light
This is a sure fix for your plant I don't like mixing the dirt up like it's
some master formula the more in the mix more chance to f it up I transplant out
of the cups soon as they can handle my 400 watter I don't wait till their
root bound I wanna transplant as soon as possible so once they have one
good set of real leave I go MH and just f the bill you can't take it with you!

My best guess is that you might overdid it a bit, but it happens. I would still suggest that you use less the next time you use the Advanced Nutrients going. Seems to be that the AN is much stronger for some people in their grow rooms than in others.

Yeah, the plants look like they're struggling, but you've gotten some great advice here, so it sounds like things should be turned around soon.

And you've learned from the experience, haven't you?

^^^ this is called the slurry test.

this is the best way imo. make sure its right going in, and then do this once a month or so, to make sure nothing crazy is going on in the soil

i have done this for about 6 years now and with a desent ph and a good well known and tested soil it has always gone great. the only time i have had def it has been when i was repotting to late or dident add basic nutes in time. What im trying to say is get good soil(canna terra/Biobizz) and repott and give them a ph of about 6,5. keep it simple Less is more :-)

If you added the lime, I'm sorta questioning the "lime loving nutes". Does it have lime in it or something? I have 0 experience with it, so I'm curious.

BTW, you would be much better off with Jack's Classic than MG anything. The price point is the same, but the quality is much better. I've used it for over 30 years.

I pulled the NL hybrid, something was frying it.... I treated like a clone cuz the roots looked like SHIT! I cut the base at a 45 degree angle, let it soak in a DRIP OF FISH EMULSION, A DRIP OF ST AND A WHOLE LOT OF WATER for about 30 mins, then I planted into an "organic seed starting mix" and put it in the "dome" (humidity dome) to see what happens. Its been a few days under the 20/4 light cycle with AWESOME air circulation and everything. It just seems to be staying the same? I duno, its still green in the VERY LITTLE new growth

Oh and the auto is doing MAGNIFICENT, just a little transplant shock.... Y'all think the 2.5 gallon bucket she's in now will be enough? She's getting lst'd btw, already started that!
