PH testing

So I am 24 days into my first grow and I have yet to check my ph. I only want to grow 4-6 plants per year so I don't want to buy a ph meter if possible. What are the chances my ph will just stay good without me monitoring it? I only use distilled water.

It is vry doubtful they will survive.

Go to Walmart and buy a cheap pH test kit in the Aquarium Department. About $4.95.

Yes if you don't your plants will show some problems. You can get cheaper PH meter pens on e-bay and amazon. The test kits will do for a while but can't really be as exact as a meter pen and if you plan on growing after these plants are done you will probably spent more on buying kits than buying a meter pen. Walmart Prescription Dept has pH Urine test strips too.

i use the ph tester for my pool, its free and works not very accurate but works fine my ph straight from the tap is good and my plants had never had problems
