In brief - turn apperture up to at least twice what you have it on now, use manual focus incase you are on auto, and also its a good time to start looking into the whitbalance setting on your camera.

Here you can see in the background my impression of Akira going nuclear on NeoTokyo's ass, Stencils and spray paint, not very good but I was learning. I hoped the beam of white might look like it was an aura around the bud. Not the best picture but it was sitting there all lined up ready to be taken so I captured it. Strain is Critical Jack Auto.

With so much focus on buds I too like to picture the stalks and leaves.

Never seen a pic quite like this one, thats one frosty fan leaf! Very nice pic indeed.

Very cool pic, the colours look amazing. Sorry bout the 'man' thing. When I'm on this site I often revert back to the stoner chat I use to adress my fellow smokers who happen to be almost exclusivley dudes :P

I love photography and cannabis. That was my first indoor grow. Was a lot of fun. That close up on the end is taken with a 40+ year old lens (FD mount) I bought for $10 and bought a shitty $20 adapter to connect it to my canon 40d.
 
Excellent work there, particularly dig the first 2 - the misty effect is really cool. And the super-close up is surprisingly crisp for such old gear.

Thanks! I've since bought a tripod and remote so the future should only be better. You probably wouldn't know they were in a grow tent in a basement and no tripod hehe. All but the closeup are just a cheap $80 50mm prime lens. It's probably the sharpest lens I have and is my 2nd as they break easily but I'd happily buy a 3rd when this one goes. I have a bunch of others, but no L series although I rent them for special occasions.

Some of the old lenses are interesting. They're all manual only but on a tripod shooting still objects it's fine. Some of the old glass that used to cost a fortune is almost free nowadays because nobody uses film era mounts anymore. Plenty are duds but every now and then you get one worth carrying around.

Also it's a perfect cover for outdoor growing. "Oh officer I'm sorry, I just hopped over that unauthorized area to snap a shot of this animal/plant/bird/ I was following, I saw the sign, I wasn't eve thinking, so sorry. " Officer looks at tripod, camera bag, guy dressed nicely that speaks articulately, and usually tell you to watch out for booby traps from growers (park rangers tell me that all the time when I'm hiking, warning about sneaking off the trail when shooting photos if you encounter a ranger at a trailhead and they see your equipment). Meanwhile half your bag is full of nutes, a gps, and a container you can use to fill with water from the stream.
 
So you would be using a digital camera Correct ??? so they replaced the 35mm camera, but with your digital camera, can you change lens, and manual set the F-stops and aperature size and film speed, So I guess you didn't buy a walmart, point and click digital camera, Im screwed I got two 35mm camera's,a Konica FS1 with all the lens you could for that camera new,the other is a Pentex Auto Focus not sure,it was my dads he passed on, I got the camera and all the extra's, now you can't use it, I took a photography class in high school, learned to love shooting and developing black and white film, and pictures, but I sure you can't do that anymore either, so how do you do black and white with a digital camera cause, I would love take some of my Jack Russel, and make him look magnanimous above my fire place. Cause I love that little guy, alot, alot, alot,
