Planning a 20" X 30" SCROG

I'm going to try my hand at scrogging for my next grow. I will be growing in a cabinet that measures 20" deep X 30" wide. The nutrient formula I will be using is a recipe given by "Zandor" from the grow report, which is based on vegging for a month before inducing flower.

I know that in the Sog/Scrog Bible it says to veg for only two weeks before flowering, So I was thinking of growing fewer plants since I want to stick with the veg/flower regiment that zandor gives.

ANYWAY, that being said do you experienced scroggers think I should grow one or two plants?

well you have a total of 4 sq feet. in a scrog u need at least 1 sq foot per plant. i would def do 2 plants cause what if your only one comes out male? your fucked right? unless ur growing from fem seed or clone. but i would grow at least 2 in there, maybe three. what kinda light and ventilation system u ganna use?
 
is this the only area you have to grow?

if you could make a veg area and use that area for flowering you could keep 9-12 1 foot plants in a sog
 
well hes tryin to scrog it. so u cant veg a plant outside the screen and try to manipulate it for only 2 weeks. u gotta fill the screen 50-75 percent b4 flipping to 12/12. if he was sogin yeah i would say do that. but hes scroggin baby!

Alright billybob! We have another ScrOG enthusiast around! We are a proud minority! Oh, and to answer your question, Oh So Grow So, I would also recommend that you do two plants. My screen is a little bit bigger than yours, and I have three plants. A two week veg might not be enough, also. After you have them sprouted, you may want to thing about it a little bit. ScrOG definitely needs a little bit longer a veg period than other growing methods. What kind of lights are you using? What strain? It will take a little bit more information to really assess your situation. Oh, and start a grow journal! There isn't nearly enough ScrOG on this site.

I'm using a 400w HPS. I have a really good week 1-10 formula given by Zandor in show 39 of his podcast "The Grow Report" that I will be using, and its based on 1 month veg. So I will be vegging longer than two weeks for sure. I Plant on growing Blue Mystic
 
merry christmas everyone! anyways Grow So u got a great light for a 2-3 plant scrog. ive been vegging my 8 strawberry coughs and 4 blueberries right now for nearly a month or so and they are are starting to really fill the screen. training the branches is so much fun. before in a normal grow u just sit and watch(other than tieing strings to fat colas), in a scrog i get to weave the plant into crazy positions. the new hightimes with the 9th annual hydro report had a small article in it on sog/scrog. what indica/satica ratio is blue mystic?
 
correct my friend. a 2x2 hole is good for 2-3 budsites. bigger holes can fit more but are harder to train across the screen. i would place ur screen about 8 inches above the pots, maybe 10. my screen is getting so full im having to weave branches across each other. its like weaving a big living flat wicker basket lol. hopefully i can get some pics here soon
 
Well first of all.. thanks for stopping by my scrog thread =]

and I was going to vote for 2 plants in that space, but then noticed the post dates.... hmmm so how did the grow go? =]
 
they were grown from seed and the plants that filled the screen turned out male. I wound up with only ONE female from the whole pack of seeds, but thats the one that was cloned and has saved me a bunch of time since cloning it of course.
