These 2 are in dwc, using 3 part nutes with a little calmag added to the water, ppm 500, lights on 18/6.

vero 29 leds

dark burn on the that started on the tips and is now taking over, fucking up all the leaves.

Any ideas please??

they look very pale, looks like they need a bit more feed, whats 600ppm converted to E.C as thats what i work in its much easier

yeah i think i fucked up a bit, ppms are ALOT lower then i was thinking.... started off with ppm of 32, added nutes and calmag, ph'ed. But i just checked the ppm of the water again and its around 350ppm, usualy around 600. I think i messed up the previous nute mix. Thank you for the help, chaning the rez out tonight.

ok, i don't think i quite understand the feeding/ppm thing.

I started off with tap water at 33ppm, added the amount of nutes(6ml micro, 6ml grow, 6ml bloom) as stated on the bottle. But when i took another ppm reading it said 240ppm, meaning i'm only feeding at around 200ppm?

i found this chart below. And my PPM seems a little low.

Can i just add more nutes at the same ratio? untill i'm at like 450PPM?

And do i subtract the starting ppm from the end to get the amount of nutes? these numbers below the total amount of nutes or the amount of nutrietns in the water?

Thank you for the help.

got the answer to my one question.
if you can afford a bluelab truncheon get 1 and use the EC scale its loads easier, theres no confusion about which PPM scale you should be using, sorry i should have made my 2nd post a bit easier to understand about subtracting the waters ppm/EC from the final value of the feed.
your PH ING letting it drift is spot on

but check here, i changed the rez out last night, the new growth is looking alot better, the smaller plant is still struggling through, I fed at 410ppm last night, when i checked the PPM's just now it was at 270ppm?

Is that the plant taking the nutes out of the water? Should i just add more nutes to keep it at 400 ppm?

I dont know a lot about DWC, but yes thats what i would do, maybe bump it up to 500/550 on the hanna scale that would give an EC of approx 1.1
