first let me say i am under my legal plant limit wihtin my state. So my problem is that my plants are too big to cover with garbage bags, even home made heavy black plastic ones. So i need to find a way to force flowing by stressing them somehow if this is possible? any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance

try interupting its dark period at nite with some kind of light....also they do make some big ass tarps these days.

Your plant should begin flowering on its own soon, be patient. the light cycle has been decreasing for a while now. you dont have any other options really, except maybe a tarp, but i would not cover it, youll just give it less energy to grow with, outside plants dont need to hit 12/12 to flower, so it will still take just as long if you cover them or not, covering them just gives them less light for photosythesis.

yeah i had a bad time along time ago i was going in and out of my room alot i had no idea you couldnt do that with light. i had big ass plants ready to go out spent so much time takin care of them come flower time i had like 30 hermie plants. sucked. if you have a late harvest breed and your tring to get them to bud faster. its not going to happen. if your to far north and your worried about the cold. you should start to think of a way to fix that. i think your asking the wrong question. im not going to go into telling you how unless you want to now.

Never tried it - but I have been told that if you need to go into your room in the dark period take a GREEN light. Anyone able to confirm or deny??

I can confirm its worked for me before, I still dont like disturbing the dark with it though and no longer use it except in case of an emergency that gives me no choice.

I think you're misremembering something. Your method will delay flowering.

If a plant hasn't begun to flower by now in North America, I'd watch it very closely. Females almost always begin budding by now, but occasionally a male will hide his balls until very late.

umm if u interrupt the light cycle at night that will keep it from budding. a plant needs an uninterrupted dark cycle to flower. that would be interrupting the dark cycle and actually be doin the exact opposite of wat u want. i have used that technique in previous years where i threw a couple out too early and they began to bud. so u def dont want to do that, i say just be patient and when its time they will flower.

they're definitely all female. they are showing hairs but not really any explosive budding growth yet

if your trying to find out sex you can take a clone off the plant put it under lights and the clone will show sex then you know the sex
