so heres the story. my parents stoped by today unexpected. just hangin out an catchin up on things. and they were walking by my bedroom, an smelt weed. so they went in my room and looked all over for them. and found my ones in my closet. =[ they said they wouldnt talk to me until i got rid of them. i was tempted to keep them. but its familyyy. so i took them out right infront of them. they wer about 1 an 1/2 weeks into flowering. so they smelt pretty strong. (mango). but i got rid of them an they were happy that i did. i still feel like i wanna cry. this is one of the most dramitc things thats happened to me in a lonnnng time =[[[[

I agree that family is 1st & foremost but damm man,wtf is all that shit about just going anywhere they feel like in your home,let alone searching your bedroom,i could understand if they were in plain sight & in full veiw but to search your most private of rooms is taking parental rights too damm far.

Dude,it's time to cut the apron strings & have a talk of your own with mom & dad,a talk about respecting the privacy of another adult & about learning about boundries,this talk should also include some teaching on your part about mj & some learning on their part about mj & the propaganda that surrounds its useage.

i agree with everyone here. im 20 right now. i have my own buisness and its pretty damn good right now, thats why im living in my own house. but i know my parents were nosey and shit but they were just dissapointed really. and said they didnt want to talk to me until i got rid of them. but i probaly will plant somewhere safer. because them weeks of growing made my days so much enjoyable. being able to watch the plant grow. knowing your getting something amazing in the end. best feeling. but i had to respect my parents just to have a really good relationship with them. because you only get 1 mom and dad. but i know i probly sound gay sayin all this shit but. all i gotta say is. shit happens :hump:

No, not gay. There may come a point in your life, though, when you feel that you have to take a stand and they will not like it. I'm guessing when that day comes, you'll all be some UNhappy campers.

i was surprised by the smell too. they were pretty damn strong for tht long into flowering. they started to smell not to long after they were growing. and u can smell it if u walk by my room. but not anywhere else in the house. but it the smell puts me to sleep good =]. hahahah but i agree with some. there may be a point in my life where ill need my parents. say i go to jail or something. theyl bail me out no prob. its just a bunch of shit i took into consideration that could happen in the long run.

^ unless your arrested for growing the marijuana they told you to throw out... sometimes its not a bad thing to appease your parents.. or tell them upfront your growing it.
