Plants in the flower stage.

So how big is that strip. I see it says 3/3 does that mean the lighting area. You probably getting sick of me already. Sorry bro I don't mean to bug you just trying to learn

Oh you only have a single 4.5' plant? That's easy...make a PVC dome over it and toss on some greenhouse fabric to protect from the elements/a tarp/poly cloth to black it out at night

We all start somewhere. That is the effective lighting area....I think that's flowering area in particular for the LED gardener designs. The light itself is probably 2' strips plus a couple inches added due to the frame.

I have four plants. But the one is as big as the three.

It doesn't have to be fancy- this is what I did out back for my fall veggie garden for instance.

(and no my plants don't look as sad as they did in that picture, that was a hot day I added the hoop)

Yeah but does the lighting area differ from Veg to flower.

Ok so it's pretty simple. And that will prolong my season a little right. Keep out some of the frost till it gets to bad?

My plants have only been flowering for at the most 3 weeks. So I have at least 5 more to go??
Probally longer honestly and you came this far don't cut early

Correct- 8 weeks is about the minimum. Some as soon as 7 after starting to flower but I haven't personally seen it. Sativas can go WAAAAY longer though.

That particular product is called floating row cover. Blocks 22% of incoming light and protects from light frosts/extreme heat. I switch it out for a clear greenhouse plastic when it gets colder.

I would do plastic for your plants not the mesh cover you see on mine. The big reason being the mesh still lets water through to some extent.... I like to keep water away from my buds during the flowering phase....
