Playstation Network! New Update

Alright you game freaks......I'm an old fart that recently aquired a PS3 with some games and blue rays.....Freakin love it with the HD cable and LCD its unbelievable. Been playing NFS undercover, carbon, shift.....wifey and the kids are into the rockband and guitar hero thing.....my first video game was pong on a coleco vision---google it LOL.
Was contemplating playing some NFS online but with all the issues I guess its better not too??
 
When the psn brought up the online, my connect told me it was good in Cali and few other places but not where i live. Then the next morning mines worked,i guess they worked they're way up around the globe starting from cali.
 
Anyone play Rockband 3 or Black Ops for PS3? I have over 1600 songs for rockband and I mostly play expert drums, but I will play guitar/bass. Black ops I'm level 50, 15th prestige and I rock both map packs. Been playing a lot of zombies lately so if you're down leave your gamertag and I'll add you up :)

Not sure what you're talking about man... black ops is 100x better than MW2 so I can only imagine that MW3 will be awesome. The trailer looks pretty badass. Doesn't sound like you're a fan of CoD period, or you're just not very good at it lol not trying to slam you bro but you're bein a hater. ;)

I totally agree. My son has one and I can't stand it. The controllers are huge and you have to hold them funny. That fact alone effects the way I play. I couldn't be any happier with my ps3. It gets a lot of use and it's still running strong. Sucks about your controllers... you can pick them up fairly cheap at Gamestop or even on eBay.

What are you talking about? mw2 didn't lag when trying to find matchs...didn't end my matchs abrutly without any info on why they were ended...also getting into matchs took to much time i might as well have been sleeping :/. i've played all the CoD games and they don't take skill...i mean in mw2 just look at the mlc classes or the quickscopers. and just because something looks bad ass doesn't mean it is bad ass CoD is the same shit over and over again. as for being a hater i'm not hating on anyone i'm just saying CoD is outdated and there are much better games that dont have you doing the same thing for hours and hours without any real achievment
 
mw2 real talk when i had it it was the shit n i still think its the shit even tho i have all the latest games,idk if its just me but i see in blackops they camp too damn much.
too many newbies and i really dont like it as much no more,the game is good but too bad they ruin it. i hope they fix that in mw3 or im not buying it. also they got new maps :) they look soo badass like real talk. but i know like a weeek the maps r going to have campers haha but its all gewd
 
I liked MW2 better than black ops. Things I cannot STAND about Black ops. Flack Jacket, and Last Stand/Second Chance. I can understand Flack jacket letting you live through a claymore, and maybe a grenade, but I've litterally hit a guy with flack jacket dead on with a china lake TWICE, and then hit him with a grenade and he still lived. I think you should get one freebie with the explosive (wearing flack). Then even if you do shoot the dumb fuck they have second chance just to show what a pussy they are.
 
I hear all your points about black ops but any game is going to have shit that you hate about it. In MW2 I hate most of the killstreaks, but love them in black ops. It's like arguing about xbox vs ps3. There is no "right" answer. We don't have to agree to like the same game :) That's what is so great about opinions (insert pun here)

Yeahhh dude, i be shooting people n for some reason they dont die, like it sounds carzy but i shoot em first n they dont die i throw everything in matter of like 3.5 seconds
n ii still end up dying they must have this flack jacket n ppl get true my claymores as well like wtf without a shotgun n jumping over em its just fucked up u know.
 
And the games all of a sudden ending randomly is a little kid that is host and can't handle losing, or keeps getting spawn killed, so the lil kid thinks he is smart and wants to save his k/d and w/l ratio and dashboards, but it still gives you a loss, its just little kids are ruining a game that their not even supposed to own!!!! and the way they camp, and if they have a mic, omfg. I don't wanna start. lol.
