Please Help 4 x 1000 watt hps in 10'x10' tent

im planning on sticking 4 1000 watt Hps in a 10'x10' tent
wondering what type of hydro setup i should go with looking for decent yield/potency
also if anyone could help with a good nutrient solution would be greatly appreciated

The short answer is you can go with any hydro setup, and pretty much any non organic nute line and you will yield well on 4k watts. There are so many variables in there that there is no one good answer. Question is, how many plants do you want to grow. Personally, I love rdwc and built a small 6 site in a 4x8 tent. If I used a 10x10, I would keep it at 6 sites, but use larger buckets, 13g, or the 27g costco totes. I like them big.

Thanks for the reply I think im going to go with Ebb and Gro. Another question, if i go with bigger buckets this will increase yield correct? With these bigger buckets would i fill the entire bucket with hidroton
or just the inner bucket that comes with the ebb and gro then somehow fit the inner bucket into the bigger buckets?

The ol saying goes, bigger roots means bigger fruits, so bigger containers are better for plants you plan on growing big. I couldn't give you the info on the ebb and grow details, but yield is mainly strain dependent. Typical low yielding strains will be above average in hydro and hi yielding strains can get out of control. In a tent, you are limited by height, so topping once or twice is always a suggested idea. With 4k watts, first time, if you make it through harvest...1/2g per watt average. If you get 1g/watt, job well done. If you get more than that, make sure you kept a journal. How many are you planning on running?

Im allowed to have 24 plants. With the idea you gave me im thinking of running 6 plants in big containers and then possibly running a SOG in a seperate 4x4 tent. I'd also like to keep two mothers at time for clones. Any thought/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also thinking of growing something like AK47, Blue Dream, Northern Lights, or an Og of some sort. Any suggestions?

And is this gram/watt ratio in dry or wet buds?

You will want to scrog, top, super crop, and train the fuck out of your plants to potentially double your yield. I would recommend low pressure aeroponics / nutrient film technique for your hydro method. Sounds complex, but its really not, and you will have complete control over your grow. I recently moved out of my tent, but my thread (link in my signature) has a lot of details on my perpetual 2k watt aero/nft tent grow that included CO2 enrichment, AC, DIY chiller and more and averaged 36 oz to 42 oz per 6 plant harvest. I'd be happy to help get you set up, so holler at me if you're in need.

My grow area is 6X12 in a 12X17 room.
I run a undercurrent system with water chiller and window A/C. I run the full Cutting Edge Solutions Nutrient line up.
Love them Love them Love them, best looking plants I've ever grown. Mean and green.
Got a whole house A/C vent in room. Put in 50 amp panel in closet which I robbed from the future hot tub circut. 10 inch exhaust out window above A/C unit. Ph and water temps monitored real time. Electric items are on controller switches. Life is beautiful. I'm in bloom and 3 weeks from harvest. What could go wrong.
My undercurrent I built runs perfect. 120 gallon. 3 fans in room.
So that leaves room temp and humidity. What a nightmare. With door open its not so bad.
3400 watts from 6 lights kick out some serious heat. I think my 5000 btu window a/c doesnt keep up. Gonna try 8000 btu in a few months. I can push 85deg with door closed. Humidity was hitting 75%. Bought a 70 pint Fridgidare dehumidifier. Now I can pull humidity down to 35%. So bumped it up to 45%. Going to 40% for final weeks in 5 days. Thats solved now heat problem. Gotta open door but that rooms loud. Temp goes to 74-78deg. But humidity goes to 35% with dehumidifier off. I think that's too low. Our home humidity is 28% out here on west coast. Then I run humidifier lol its crazy.

So my point is if you are dropping 4000 watts in a 10X10 tent. Tell me how you handle heat and humidity nightmare. Humidity is fine in veg. But when you get in bloom it goes nuts in the room. All those gallons of water they drink everyday have got to go somewhere.

Keep us up to date and good luck. Lol I'm waiting on the electric bill.

Thanks Nevin I'd love to see it. I started on this Forum about 5-6 years ago. People come and go but we can still learn. I have tried so many ways to skin the cat. In the end some of the simplest or easy ways you do things can give you great results. Every grow is different and following someones perfect scientific method can end in disaster and a lost crop. Go easy on things. A lot of posts have guys coming in and show beautiful plants n methods and before harvest they disappear. I still think someone gives advice about bloom and boosters then disaster strikes. Been there done that. Like I was told about Kool Bloom. Good stuff... Till I pushed it a little bit too much the last week. Walked in one morning and my beautiful crop looked like Columbia Gold. It turn a beautiful brown over night. I blew a whole crop. Never should have added that extra tablespoon lol. Couldn't resist the urge to make those buds just a little bit bigger. Go easy and keep it simple. I spoke with current culture about their undercurrent system. Like $3K for what I wanted. Sorry not on my budget. I sat down and desighned my own. Covered every base from filling draining and cooling. I was told to use those 1-1/2" black grommet deals so built a small system using ho depot buckets. Those dont work well on rounded surfaces. They leaked. The buckets are too small the roots always looked like crap. One reason was oxygen. Needed more airstones. If you drip that noise drove us nuts. Finally went with the 27 gal black totes with yellow lids. Painted lids an cut 2 8" holes in each for 2 plants per bucket. Did the top drip also. Bought a pump and dropped it in reservoir and using a little valve to adjust flow i ran 1/4" tubing to each bucket to drip. No more crazy bubble noise. On the containers those thru wall 1-1/2" fittings to connect the pipe are expensive. A friend showed me how to make my own for a few bucks. The secret was one side uses the gray electrical fitting because it has a larger surface area. Haha no leaks on container. The output side dropped to 3/4" with a pump to resevoir. On the output side of the pump i put a spigot on it and a valve right after that. Turn the valve attach a hose n bingo drain the system. I can drain n fill 80 gal with new nutrients in 30 min and never lift a water bucket. Just sit n look things over and you can design an awesome system, then sleep on it and cover every base. Im figuring with pumps n resevoir I built that $3-4k system for $3-4 hundred bucks. My neighbor stopped by. He loved it but agreed heat needs to come down. So I said how much do you think I can pull I said 3-4 lbs? He said NO more like 5-6 lbs. So I'm happy. Now the hard part. I HATE TRIMMING. LMFAO
