Ok well I recently grew 6 all different strain plants in the same area. 4 I harvested a couple of days apart and the last 2 I harvested a week and a half later because they were not done yet. I still ended up pulling it early because it hermed. I found 2 bananas in each one. I put 4 more plants in there about a week ago to start flower so they are about a week into flower. My question is how can I tell if the 4 new plants have hermed? What should I look for or expect? Please help me!!!!! Lol! No really I would appreciate some help.

Ok well the 6 plants I had were Crimea blue Barney's farm super lemon haze greenhouse seeds lemon skunk greenhouse seeds green crack from a dispensary and one purple goo and one purple haze. The purple haze n the goo were the ones that hermed. I grow in soil under a 400 watt Hps one 100 watt fluorescent with a orange spectrum and 6 26watt daylight cfls. All my videos are posted on YouTube for a more specific explanation. My user name is Aavilajr2005.

Are there hermie blooms near the top of the plant? Or, more around the lower branches? Are you sure it's not a light contamination problem? Even the amber light on a power strip can cause plants to hermie. Out of your strains, I would have guessed that the Crimea Blue was the culprit. as this strain is less stable. My bet is it's a light issue.

What do you think of the Green Crack? I have Green Crackle. do you know anything about the Crackle? I can't find any info, so if you have any input I would be grateful.

What's light contamination? I had heard about Barney's farm strains having herm tendencies. However the Crimea blue did exceptionally well it was my top producer. Idk anything about the green crackle but the green crack I had was awesome. It had like a pineapple phenotype. It grew really dense rock hard nugs. Check out my videos. By lite contamination I mean 'ANY' lite that disrupts the 12 of hours dark. Check your bloom room , turn off all lites , if you can still see lite coming thruogh a hole or from a power strip, thats the problem . lite contamination is the most common cause of herms.

also, if you need to go in your bloom room durring dark period use a green lite. this will not stress plants . (green as in color)
