have had a few grows using bag seed and have had about an 80% success rate almost all would germinate and give me a decent harvest.
Never the best quality i admit
So i went to fem seeds and had about a 50% or less rate . Sometimes they would germinate sometimes not. Sometimes die after germinating for whatever unknown reason
Then i wanted to try autos. So now i have about a 20 % chance of germinating then when they do they look like the pic.
I have tried all diff methods and soils
The pic is a small bit of a seed starting soil from bag in middle surrounded by happy frog with ocean forest in bottom of pot. Similar to something a see someone use on this site. I try to keep waterings between 6 to 6.5 ph i have a 3.x 3 tent kept at 75 and a sf1000 light i have given no nutes or supliments yet and they look burnt
It seems like i have tried everything but cant seem to get it at all
I have tried a few seed dealers and strains even the “easy beginner “ strains

More details needed....
Germination method
Ph
Temps
Light?

You should get close to 100f germ rate from new seeds if you are doing it correctly.... its maybe too cold?

Germination methods:
Water
Paper towel
Directly in soil
Ph 6 to 6.5
Temp75
Light sf 1000 all distance tried
OK.... keep it simple....

Wet paper towels in a tupperware container. In the DARK for 7 days in an airing cupboard or similar. After that then make a hole in some soil and pop them in root first. I don't even ph for seedlings... tap water should be fine.

Put in glass of water overnight until seeds drop. Poke em down to see if they sink. Place in paper towel or there's nothing wrong with putting them right into dirt. Reputable genetics is an absolute must for me. You get what you pay for in my experience.

get some potting compost and plant them 1/2 inch deep and keep the soil moist with a spray bottle, you can use the light to keep them warm if you like, but never let them dry out.
paper towel and tupperware container is probably your best bet. but be carefull which soil you use for seedlings, some soils are hot, meaning to strong in nutrints for seedlings.
looking at your pots, i would use some potting compost in a solo cup and keep it on top of your light if your carefull not to let it dry and as long as its not too hot. or just do the same , but leave them under the lights to stay warm.
with fresh seeds, as stated above, you should get 99% sucsess rate when germinated properly
again, what soil are you useing to germinate in??? as much info as you can give on the enviromet you have created will help no end

Not a fan of soaking... or planting without removing the shell. Sure it works... but sometimes you get them stuck in the shell and an little helping hand to escape can make the differences

I would up your germination temp. One of my dudes killed 8/10 seeds trying to pop at 75°f. Yes it works for some people and I've heard of seeds popping at colder, but my room is between 79° and 83°and I got one of the two he gave me going for him. What kind of strain are you trying to grow? sativa, indica? I've noticed indica seem to handle cold better while sativas prefer the warmer more equatorial temps.
I soak my seeds for an hour in hydroden peroxide(drug store strength), to clean and help soften the seed hull, before the 24hr water soak.
The nute burn is coming from the uncut happy frog and ocean forest. Those soils are rather hot. I've seen people burn their girls transplanting into uncut Fox Farm soils.
How often are you watering? How are you determining necessity?

Place seed 1/2" deep in solo cup moistened medium, on 80 deg heat mat. Keep moistened or domed until sprout...3-4 days. POP.

FFOF is a bit hot for autos, I recommend a lighter mix like happy frog or my favorite bio bizz light mix. I also use only DI water...

I thought I was losing my mind for a minute and then realized this is a double post.

As I wrote in the other post your main problem is overwatering. Kept it simple as follow the instructions from the thread I posted in your other thread.

Im new to the forum but I planted in same soils without issue. Happyfrog first then transplanted into gradually stronger soils of ffof and happyfrog blend in its 2nd and 3rd transplant and its final 7gal pot is all ffof and super soil blend. With that being said, overwatering is a common issue and if the experienced grower above has already absorbed your explanation and he gave his opinion, theres a 95% chance hes correct especially when insisting on your 2nd post that its a watering issue. When i 1st began I listened to way too many different opinions rather than 1 or 2 experienced opinions with methods that make sense. I overwatered and got the same droopy looking signs, my suggestion is to follow the bro above mes advice and relax on the h2o. Its better to allow the soil to dry up just a little (not bone dry) but let it dry a bit so the roots search for water and get stronger by spreading out, then water. You can tell by two methods, the lift test and the finger test. Lift the pot, feel its weight when fully watered and then 2 to 3 days later lift again, try to remember how your medium feels weight wise, if you have a replica pot fill it with same soil.mix and water it till run off and guage its weight, then allow it to dry completely and lift again..thatll tell you your plants weight relative to when its watered or needing water..then theres the finger test, stick your finger 3 inches down, if its wet then dont water, if its dry give her a drink. Never too much, only until a little bit of run off especially with soil so not to flood out your microbes, soil also holds water longer than other mediums so keep that in mind. You do not want soggy roots as theyll get root rot so less water broski.

Thanks for the info
I never soaked in peroxide but will try it
I like growing sativas like the head. I am more than likley watering too much as i hve said before i am a clumsy tinkerer
Have to mess with stuff all the time i have to change that i think
Thanks again
