Plush Berry Picture Thread

I like how Rize has found/pointed out 3 phenos, where as Subcool only recognized two.

Not that I like confrontation, but I do like evolution and growth in the field. And where Subcool may have not seen the third, there was someone equally as talented, and intelligent to notice the variations of the plant phenos.

All good stuff.

technically every plant is going to be different. Phenotypes are just generalizations. You could run 100 females and would technically get 100 different varieties.

each seed plant is a unique genotype. phenotype is a more general term. with a standard male to female cross 4 phenos is typical. variety doesn't really apply to cannabis but i get what you mean.

haha. I am a little irked by the comment at the top of the page. I don't know Sub all that well, but I am positive that he knows there are more than two phenos for any new cross. This ain't his first rodeo. The breeders job is to identify the keeper phenos, of which there are two, that he identified long ago under the pink lady name iirc. So when I went looking for phenos I already knew what to look for based on his descriptions. I didn't come here to show him up, but to re-affirm what he has already said. I've grown out hundreds of seeds in my life. They are all unique. What we call plushberry is a genetic pool of which there are infinite possibilities because TGA uses legit breeding techniques. rize up

Never said, nor meant to infer that you were trying to show up Sub.

I was merely trying to say, I think it's great that there are so many people out there who are so involved in progressing the knowledge surrounding cannabis horticulture.

I was referencing (http://tgagenetics.com/strain/plushberry/plushberry.php) when I said there were two main phenos as pointed out by Sub. I never said that he didn't know better than just two phenos. If someone were to go to TGA's site and see that there were only two main phenos, they could them come here, and see, "Oh wait, my pheno seems to more fit this heavily purple pheno, rather than the one that is more spotty purple." That's all I was trying to say...Whew.

I was just trying to give a compliment, but I'll remember not to do that next time...

it was a backhanded compliment that basically took a shot @ sub, not rize. and secondly it was a ignorant statement about genetic variety, that deserved to be chastised.

"hey hey" says krusty the clown.

Cant we all just get along?! NO HARM NO FOUL GUYS. rize up

I apologize for jumping on that comment. Keep it UP AND UP yall.

I run the original black cherry soda in my garden I'm curious about the way it breeds out into these TGA crosses. Guess its time to get some beans
