fuckin goddamn terrorists....if there is ever a war against the police..i know what side ill be on!
No no didn't you hear they are a "highly trained anti-terrorist unity"...the "Marines" of the DPD as they say... bunch'a shit

seriously though who the fuck comes up with the plans for these raids, or do they just send em out loaded up with protection and ammunition and say, "just go nuts"?

Do we really need these special response teams especially those formed in 1987...
or do the police need them?

"Before the police broke in, a relative told police there were children inside and pointed to toys in the front yard. “‘There’s kids in the house,’ I said five times, ‘there are kids in the house,’” a relative told the TV station."

lead cop: "Ok team don't listen to that guy, jim - take this flash bang and throw it in that open window."
jim: "but, he just said there we'r.."
lead cop: "Shut up just do it!"

"The Detroit police may have been particularly primed to use indiscriminate and overwhelming force on Sunday, due to a raid last month that left one cop dead and four others wounded."

apparently particularly using indiscriminate, overwhelming (unnecessary) force is the only way for Detroit Police to do their job and protect themselves
What about the disregard for a big percentage of people they're supposed to be protecting and serving!?!?! (not killing)

fuuuuucccckkk this makes me want to throw a grenade in the DPD office window and then fire off a round and say the old man on the bench in the corner “had some level of physical contact” with me.

Other thread on it... https://www.rollitup.org/toke-n-talk/331409-sad-story.html

And yes, the suspect was there... he should be rotting in hell for putting those people, and that 7 year old girl in danger.

He was a cold blooded murderer, and knew that the cops were after him and would be raiding his house looking for him.

Also, flash bangs are the most non-lethal of all of their tools, good choice on behalf of the officers to use that particular form of entry, bad choice on behalf of the officer that got spooked and shot.

Jones and his relatives said the suspect was not even in the same apartment as Aiyana. Police raided the upstairs unit simultaneously and reportedly arrested a 34-year-old male.

Well, by the article it would seem the only thing to do... it was a "two apartment home" apparently... he could've been in either one.

Still, like I said in the other thread... there's responsibility here, it lies with the actual murder suspect, and the officer who shot the girl.

They've never proven themselves to be my enemy, and until they do... I will respect every cop that represents their badge the right way, the lawful way, because they deserve it for the job they do everyday. I've had nothing but great experiences with cops, even when being arrested for a felony I was treated with great respect and cool heads... guess maybe because we don't let the dirty cops stay around too long so we got good family men and women behind the badge in my area... real nice folks.

And we never hear of crap like this going down, and I know our SWAT team is active, very active... they're just more professional I guess.

still didn't answer my question? avoiding entrapment officer?
There should be a yawn smilie, so that I can better express my feelings towards your rhetorical and idiotic question.

If I'm any type of cop... it's the Shwag Police... making sure shwag is eradicated from my city, and ensuring my citizens have the resources available to them to smoke only the finest herb our great land called America has to offer...

Tell me c0l, do you even know what LEAP is? Or are you sticking to that typical idiotic mindset that, as you just said, "police are our enemy"?

That's the problem. Alot of them are pretty quick. I've lost friends to the police academy before. They are trained into heartless douchegbags.

I had a next door neighbor who went to Iraq, came back fine, for the most part, He was still a great dude. Then he decides to go to the police academy. I swear next time I hung with him he was in his dads' big ass ford f250 swerving on the streets trying to hit people's dogs becasue he thought it was funny.

He ran over a little dockson wiener dig and laughed his ass off. I asked him what his problem was and he said "What, not like they can do anything about it!"

Now he is wanting to be DEA.

I got a buddy who's in training to become a cop, we don't see eye to eye anymore cause of the brain washing. the worst part of it is that he is already trained as a heavy equipment oporator, he'd make more dough running a backhoe then aresting crackhoes but something in his head is telling him to be a fucking pig
