I don't remember one of the poll choices being 'I love Obama'. You gave 10 options for one side of the spectrum, all democrats got crammed into 1 option. No one loves Obama anymore. They do love Ron Paul though.

While I agree about Ron Paul supporters flooding the polls, I have to question something. What percentage of registered voters actually vote in the primaries? About 15 million voted in the Republican primaries. 125 million people voted in 2008 Elections give or take a few million. Ron Paul's supporters will actually vote in the primaries. Also, take into account a lot of people who are crossing parties to register Republican so they can vote for Ron Paul in the primaries. We may well see a historically large Republican primary. Say half of the country will vote Republican this year for simplicity. Maybe a quarter of republicans will vote in the primaries. If Ron Paul gets the kind of excitement from his voters like he gets in online polls and many others. His actual primary numbers will be much higher than his percentage of Republican voters. Real Clear Politics #'s have Ron Paul at 8.2 percent and Romney at 21.6. If Ron Paul can get 75% of his supporters to the primary he will have the support needed to win them even at the current levels of supporters. That isn't counting that he will actually gain more air time and face recognition and his ideas will be out in the public eye more coming up on the primaries. There wont be a democrat primary this year for all real purposes. How many democrats and independents will go Republican to vote? If there was a year Ron Paul could win, it is this one.

Ross Perot made a great showing when he did it. However, he lost the election and caused Bush to lose the election. Ron Paul knows that splitting the Republican vote would be the wrong thing to do since most anyone in the Republican ranks is at least marginally better than Obama. He also knows that his supporters are more enthusiastic than your average politicians. If he has 8.2 percent of Republican voters(RCP number) then that will be more like 15-20% at primary time. Ron Paul supporters will vote in the primaries. Not to mention all the independents he is going to bring with him. Do you think Libertarians aren't going to be excited at the first real chance to have one of their own for president? No one is bombing the polls for Romney and Bachmann because they aren't excited about them. The country and the party are a lot different than they were in 2007-2008. Nothing is set in stone yet.

It says Ron Paul supporters are enthusiastic. My poll that you derided says that people would rather slit their wrists than vote for Obama.
