Okay, i didn't get through all these, but i dont' think anyone is in a position to be saying what someone should or shouldn't do. everybody's different, therefore the physical and mental needs and capabilities vary. therefore, if it seemed natural or wise at the time, and nothing bad happened from it...fuck off everybody who's trying to argue this point. I have no arguement, just a great congratulations for the new mother :)

Yes congrats to the new mom on having a healthy new baby....:peace::hump:

Eat some hemp seeds and oil, for some killer breast milk for that babe......cannabis is the best source of omega3 fats....:blsmoke:

*to fdd* exactly. you could've gotten high without being irresponsible. That was honestly, a selfish move. And anyone can say I'm judging her. she made the thread.

*to 000420* I'm not one to sit down and watch after school special but I am one who takes college level biology. Smoke (in any form, from anything.. you fucking jackass) can be damaging to lung tissue. also, it's not just about the baby's lungs, it's about all the cells. The thing is DEVELOPING, no defenses, directly affected by everything it's mother does. you can't sit here and say SMOKING weed can't RISK you damaging a fetus. whether or not it did, it was a stupid thing to even chance. so fuck you.
Thank you. I too am a biology student and to sit and watch people try to justify this is just fucking mind-boggling.

jeez, you are so violent....Show me a case where cannabis smoke damages lung tissue.....I'll show you studies that show it heals lung tissue....along with many other positive cannabis effects....did you know it is the best treatment for Alzheimer's available and has recently been shown to even reverse the effects?...Did they teach you that in your Bio class?...or are they giving you the 1980s Mcgraw Hill education?

Smoke a bowl and stop attacking people...:blsmoke::peace:

No fetus has ever been harmed by cannabis smoke ever....never has happened and millions of women do it....it's natural...it's healthy...safer than anything most doctors will gladly prescribe a prego.....Go read somw info on Jack Herrer's my space you can read recent studies that show the only effect of cannabis smoke was a very slightly lower birth weight which could not be pin pointed to the cannabis , the kids learn, develop , grow just like any kid not exposed to cannabis smoke during it's fetal state...many even became healthier and stronger faster...in the long run they could find no significant differences at all...there was no down side to smoking cannabis during pregnancy.....

Harvard University researchers have found that, in both laboratory and mouse studies, delta-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) cuts tumor growth in half in common lung cancer while impeding the cancer's ability to spread. The compound "seems to have a suppressive effect on certain lines of cancer cells," explained Dr. Len Horovitz, a pulmonary specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
According to the researchers, THC fights lung cancer by curbing epidermal growth factor (EGF), a molecule that promotes the growth and spread of particularly aggressive non-small cell lung cancers.

Cannabis smoke contains more tar and cancer causing agents than most...but it has one thing most smoke does not.....THC...it is a dilator ,lungs alveoli open when you inhale it so these tars don't get trapped and you actually expel other toxins and tars in the process..that's why smoking pot makes you cough up nasty shit some times, it is cleaning your lungs..it is #1 expectorant....stops cancer....

but is that the physical smoke or just the chemical alone?
it's the chemical...but this protects you from the smoke that is providing it...this is why you will never get lung cancer from smoking cannabis...smoke it up...you might get an irritated throat or rasp....but you will not get cancer..you will not die.....

and also a baby in the fetus would be receiving the THC not the smoke...which may even be good for the baby....we don't know yet..but we know it is not bad....:blsmoke:

they prescibe medical marijuana for asthma patients. go figure.

excactly..I am one of those people who use it for asthma..you can save a person from death by an asthma attack by giving them a hit off a joint.....what other smoke does this?.....weird......it's because it is a dilator...it opens you up lets in air and expels the crap

shit its hard to post this cuz it proves me wrong but fuck you guys anyway im still right!!!

what better place for them to do this baby study than in Jamaca Mon!!

this study suggests then heavy marijuana smoking prego women actually have more alert babies who are more easy going lol:mrgreen:

DISCUSSION
Although no positive or negative neurobehavioral effects of prenatal exposure were found at 3 days of life using the Brazelton examination, there were significant differences between the exposed and nonexposed neonates at the end of the first month. Comparing the two groups, the neonates of mothers who used marijuana showed better physiological stability at 1 month and required less examiner facilitation to reach an organized state and become available for social stimulation. The results of the comparison of neonates of the heavy-marijuana-using mothers and those of the nonusing mothers were even more striking. The heavily exposed neonates were more socially responsive and were more autonomically stable at 30 days than their matched counterparts. The quality of their alertness was higher; their motor and autonomic systems were more robust; they were less irritable; they were less likely to demonstrate any imbalance of tone; they needed less examiner facilitation to become organized; they had better self-regulation; and were judged to be more rewarding for caregivers than the neonates of nonusing mothers at 1 month of age.

LOL..it's funny, that many of the Cannabis tests are done in Jamaica..LOL..of course...LOL...another recent one also done in Jamaica showed that on average people who smoke Cannabis but do not smoke tobacco or abuse alcohol , live longer by 2 years than people who don't smoke cannabis, tobacco or abuse alcohol....yes Smoking pot makes you live longer....the study showed the more cannabis consumed the longer the life span..it's not much but is something...also....

Maria Olivia da Silva, she's the oldest women in the world..127 this year.....she was fucking born in 1880!!!!! that's crazy...you know what she does every day?....smokes cannabis like crazy...and has outlived everyone around her...she loves cannabis...she lives in an unhealthy ass place in a fucking mud hut in total poverty and managed to stay alive and sane this long........thanks Cannabis:mrgreen::blsmoke:

000420 you said pot is not a drug and you are wrong. By the definition of the word a drug is any substance that alters you physical or mental state. So you see it is a drug. It is just one that you use so that must mean its ok right.

Like I said earlier, a word only gets it meaning because man gives it that meaning....

also it does not just alter your mind, it has a vast array of effects, it's more than just some stupid drug...yes by Websters dictionary def. of drugs, you could throw cannabis in that category.....but you could also not throw it in that category...it's your choice...:hump::hump::hump:

If you want Cannabis to be a drug.. than for you it is...enjoy your drugs......I'm, going to go enjoy my "Wonder Plant"...yes it's a plant that's what I call it....it is a plant..and it grows buds......what drugs do that....

great discussion....

Jumping out of airplanes is probably great for your system.. hightened awareness, endorphin rush, new experience stimpulates the mind... etc...

still dangerous as FOOK.. even if nobody has ever died from jumping out of a plane, it is still dangerous...

maybe dangerous is not the correct word...

maybe what I am trying to say, is that it is an UNECCESSARY RISK

yes. that is my new answer :)
