I think that is a conservative estimate. By the time these get finished filling out most of these colas are going to be huge. Most of my plants have 3-4 main colas. The 6' SLH's are just 2-3 weeks into flower so I'm not seeing much on them yet. If they need more light I still have 2 4'/4 bulb T-5's and 2 sets of LED's I can add at any time but the LED's really suck when it comes to flowering. My grow room is big, air conditioned and I have the HID forced-air vented so it stays nice in there.

I sold the ones I bought from HTG. The ones I have now are exactly the same as those and I got them off fleabay. I can't remember the specs on them. I did buy sets of red and sets of blue; I don't care for the mixed frequency lights. They are super for vegging; I used them this grow and will continue to use them to veg; I just prefer the HID for flowering. Maybe if I had some real expensive ones it might be different.

I used quad bands, and they didnt do well for flowering either, I still use them for vegging though because they do great in that area. They just dont compare to hps when it comes to flowering. Your plants are looking nice, should have some huge buds on them girls when its said and done.
Plants are big yes, but far from finished. If you had only 2 weeks to go I'd say sure, maybe you can get 10 lbs but they have ALOT of developing to do yet, and thats NOT gonna happen with a 1000 watt hps. You'll be very very lucky to get 5 lbs. Basically off a 1000 in a 4x4 ft area you can pull off 2 lbs with the right strain and a significant amount of growing experience. Thinking you'll get 10 lbs finishing these on 1 light tells me you havent got a clue or any real growing experience. A light in a room that size is only allowing the plants to sustain life. Intensity = weight , and you have no intensity. Wanna get 10 lbs or better? Better add 4 or 5 more 1000's. Considering the circumstances I'd have to say it's pretty arrogant of you to jump into Serapis' thread and start knocking what he's doin.

I would agree that for the size of the plants and the number of plants, you will need more than 1000 watts for the plants to produce like you want them to. Either way, Im still interested to see the outcome.

Thanks Serapis. I really never intended to be a dick on your thread. It was a full moon last night and I had not gotten laid in 3 weeks. You know how it goes, you get pushed, you push back; pretty soon you get into a fight, then things really turn ugly and a hockey game breaks out. We got off on the wrong foot bro; that's all.

Well from what you had to say I was thinkin your grow journal should be pretty impressive. So, I clicked on your link and was quite surprised to see what you have goin on. Wasnt intended to watch anyones back, just that you speak so highly of yourself. So basically you had it comin. Im gonna watch your mega harvest as well cuz I wanna see what kind of weight you get. Hopefully I can sell off 4 of my 5 lights if I do things the way you do. If you didnt want feedback you wouldnt have started a journal on a public forum. Good luck on your grow, youre gonna need it.
