Pollen. You are suppose to decide early on whether to drop the plant or not. Lots of flower few balls early on, ok might be a worthy saver only will kbow once you pull the sacs only experienced growers notice these sacs early in tgeir development

So your saying their shot ? Damn that bites
Yup, probably are ahot because you noticed only after all this time of it happening. You can try pulling whatever left you can find, but doing it early tells the plant, no! No balls! Early on in its flower stage and often enough if not too hermie will never again produce balls! Ive grown stressed heat burned supercropped plants that only ever made 2 balls, for this one plant. Its alot to do with seed genetics

Please explain how you came to a pollination conclusion without seeing a single picture, or even asking if the "white" powder is yellow (as is pollen).

@morugawelder, please post a picture or two of the issue for a proper diagnosis before you scrap the plants based on an uninformed response.

Here's a little overview of PM: https://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/powdery-mildew/
Hey listen troll stop following me and posting your noob assumptions please

Yup, they can go hermie any time in flowering and it can all be based on seed genetics

Ask yourself this question does every seed start the same. Nope. Even if same strain

Use a tissue, dont shake branch or anything. Put hot water on tissue and carefulky wipe leaf branch and remove pollen sacs nearby even if exploded already

I've been here going on eight years. I do not follow anybody, especially new members who are in it just to hear themselves speak, whilst constantly giving uninformed or even outright incorrect advice.

You really need to get a hold of yourself and find some reality.
Holly crap man, the white powder he is talking about is pollen stop being so foolish

You will notice some bud flowers will be seeded but if you dont see much powder, it MAY have not done serious pollenation but it doesnt take many to explode to do big pollenation just depends where it lands

Conditions Favoring Powdery Mildew
  • High relative humidity at night
  • Low relative humidity during day
  • 70-80F (22-27C) temperatures (These conditions prevail in spring and fall)
The spores are carried by air currents and germinate on the leaf surface. Liquid water on leaves inhibits spore germination. The fungus grows on the leaf surface but sends fine threads (haustoria) into the cells to obtain nutrients. From the time a spore germinates to the time new spores form may require only 48 hr. High humidity favors spore formation while low humidity favors spore dispersal.

Some powdery mildew are inhibited by free moisture on leaves while others are favored by wetness on leaf surfaces.
