Prayers for those in line of impact

Lets all pray for the east coast. This is going to be potentially a major disaster. So many lives will be affected. Lives may be lost. I for one will ride this storm out. I am a little to the north west inland and hope it doesnt hit to hard here . Those on the east coastline i just dont know. I pray no lives are lost and damage is to a minimal.

Been praying for everyone in the path of this beast for a few days now. I have a good friend in NYC. That has me on edge. I Will continue to pray until over! May the Lord keep you all safe.

Does anyone else find it off that this storm is brewing, and there was a 7.7 quake off the coast of Canada? I mean what are the odds. That's a major quake.

Prayers and thoughts for those in the areas....

this may be a repeat of the New York 1938 Superstorm

Did not feel it but I keep up on earthquakes... and NEVER have I seen so many aftershocks reported at above mag 4
the original mag was 7.7 in CAN there there were the aftershocks all 30-40 of them above 4

http://www.iris.edu/seismon/last30.html it's pretty stunning... unless ISIS is reporting inaccurate info

Abracadabra! Send the storms back to sea. That should do it. Hope everyone has prepared good enough to ride the storm out.

No doubt they are getting ready for it, every emergency mgt team on the east coast is on high alert. With that said I feel this will save lives. As to property, I fell will be the greatest loss in our US History for sure, no way to get around that but at least the people will be safe.

lived in CT for Hurricane Gloria (when it got to our area it died down but the winds were very powerful) remember helping all the non military people with their windows and boarding crap up...

this one is looking really bad at this point.. not too many weathermen will flat out call it a superstorm like they have been on this one

i live right in the path of the storm been ready for a week now just need to get some gas for the genorator i know for a fact i will lose power always do even small storms prob be a bit before power will be back on

I just dont get why people get all worked up and think something major is going to happen just because a large storm hits or an earthquake happens. We live on a living and very active planet and lets all be thankful for that, if Earth was not so active we and no living things would be here. The plant goes through low and high activity of both weather/climate changes and seismic activity. Human have evolved during a period of climatic geological stability, in other words we have been luck to live in a good warn and quiet time in earths history. However that will and is changing as it does. Me personally am not worried about a major climate shift or global earth quakes it is all apart of the normal cycle of things.
Oh not in any way saying that I dont feel sorry for those in the path of said storms ect. Best of luck to all of you in the path of the storm. Get to some higher ground and prep as best as you can.

I'll be in NYC in a couple of weeks visiting family. They are closing down all transit there this evening. Sure am glad that I am not flying anytime soon!

Damn it looks like New Jersey might get the worst of it. Models show it heading directly towards them. On top of that the temperatures at night are gonna be really cold. Wonder how many plants are in the ground on the east coast. All that effort only to be detroyed by this bitch sandy. Sure its no CAT3or4 but still Those are some really populated areas. Flooding will be the main concern as this approaches. If it comes down to it i will volunteer and go to the impacted areas and help people. Hopefully this just blows over though.
