Lol wiggle room. If he has said that (not doubting you) then I believe it must be new, in the face of the inevitable. People cannot govern while held hostage to a ridiculous pledge they made to win a primary.

Here are my predictions:
1. Whoever is president during the 2012-2016 term is going to be hated with vehemence by all parties prior to their exit.
2. The 10 year treasury yield will go negative to the tune of -4% or greater.
3. The current Fed chairman will be replaced during this period.
4. Energy prices will collapse, crude oil in particular, below $10 per barrel for longer than you think possible.
5. A limited world war involving multiple combatants with nuclear capability is a 60% probability over the next 4 years and a 100% probability over the next 10 years.

FYI, the most practical and cheapest cover for your fallout shelter is 3 feet of dirt. Don't forget to angle the entrance with a berm of thick dirt as well since the gamma radiation generated from nuclear fallout travels in a straight line.

I remember him being involved in the "Indian" casino lobbying scandal. The one where Abramoff charged 83 million in fees after he and Scanlon started secretly lobbying against the casinos thus forcing them to pay lobbying fees to fight it. They split the proceeds between them. Norquist was involved but managed to avoid prosecution.

My prediction....things will get slightly better and Republicans will still cry about the election. It's all an illusion though. Things will appear to be better when in reality they just keep raising the debt ceiling

I predict they still try to get rid of Obama. They hate Obama way more than they did Clinton, and they impeached him. I would not be surprised to see such an attempt on Obama. They don't need much of a reason these days. Bengazi, for instance. Not saying that's going to happen, I don't believe that, but something like that is all it would take.

Schumer told NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday that he and Graham have a plan designed to appeal to stakeholders on all sides of the highly contentious issue and he's optimistic that it can get through a gridlocked Congress.

Grover Norquist, founder and president of Americans For Tax Reform, has a new theory about why President Barack Obama won -- he portrayed Mitt Romney as a "poopy head."

"The president was committed; elected on the basis that he was not Romney and Romney was a poopy head and you should vote against Romney and he won by two points," Norquist said on CBS' "This Morning" Monday. "But he didn't make the case that we should have higher taxes and higher spending, he kind of sounded like the opposite."

Host Norah O'Donnell pushed back. "Well, I'm not sure that's what the president called Mitt Romney, Grover," she said. "That's not the debate that was had ... he said very clearly throughout the debate that the wealthiest Americans should pay more and he won eight of the nine battleground states and Republicans failed to reclaim the White House or the Senate."

This is a fine example of what the beloved GOP thinks of American citizens. Clueless old fossil. Keep this up and the Democrats are going to win in 2016 as well. Even Newt Gingrich is bewildered by the results of the election. Greedy fucking bastard. Time to step out of the 50's and look at the real world, Grandpa.

I think it depends on how the global market turns out. If things turn around for Europe and china, we might see jobs coming back and have substantial recovery. If Europe and china continues to struggle then we might be on a long road to recovery. My fears are the latter. I think we will have another 4 years of marginal progress(progress none the less). No fault of obama, just how the world economy is.

Then we will have a majority of our troops come home which is good.

Immigration reform will be on the table now that the republicans have to act like they care. We need to retain the ones who graduate and are required to leave after completing their degree.

Hope we pass funding for veterans. They deserve it.

I hope we pass online poker.

Obama care will be the law of the land. Now people can get care without going to the emergency room or becoming bankrupt. Obama you dick for wanting health care for all Americans such an asshole(sarcasm).

I think we will have classes at JCs that help train people that don't want to do the 4 year thing, but need a career in something relevant for the 21st century.

There will be more. Obama has some work to do.

WE ARE ALL AMERICANS. Anyone that would wish for anything less than a complete economic recovery and return to stability is a fool. Anyone who puts party, profession, or person above country (looking at you Trump) is a traitor.

People claim to want a "strong America" but think that just means long jail-sentences and strong armies. That's not it at all. We need to work on unifying ourselves as a nation so that we can build ourselves back up into the power we once were.

Do we have dramatically differing political outlooks? Of course, but that is what makes this nation what it is. We have the ability to express ourselves through the democratic process without fear of reprocussion. A gift many in this World do not have the luxury of.

Personally, I am a Democrat. I voted for Barrack Obama twice because I can't abide by the stated GOP agenda of adhereing to the Bible on social issues. My belief in the seperation of Church and State is firm, and any party that would attempt to seriously alter that tradition will never get my vote.

I hope the GOP has listened to what the people had to say on Election Night and try to bring about a center-push in philosophy, shying away from the religous hyper-conservatism of the radical right. Then if the democrats see fit to not be too damn smug about winning (I hate Nancy Pelosi for that exact reason) and can find middleground on certain issues, there's a chance we might see real progress in the coming year.
