producing resin after cut down

i think you were misguided with the dark period. supposedly, the plant will produce more thc if you put it in a dark place BEFORE you chop. so if it's in a bucket, take the whole thing and place it in a dark room for 2 days (or cover it up - make sure there's no light leaks). I'm not 100% sure this works but it's what I've read on the forum.

plant def dosnt die right away. but im not sure how long it takes. I dont see why killing it wouldnt produce more trichs. the plant produces to prtect so why wouldnt it make a last stitch effort?? !
