I have an idea for increasing soil drying capability without having to transplant into better soil mix. What if you drilled a bunch of holes in a small diameter PVC pipe. Then cut two holes on opposite sides of the pot. Push the pipe through the hole and then out the other side, removing the dirt from the pipe in the process. Then place a fan so it blows through the pipe. Ideally the pipe would be placed through a part of the pot with low root growth to avoid damage. Any thoughts?
