Question About Hermie..

the 'classic' explanation for the femme process is that stable females are chosen, then colloidal silver is used to force the hermie
the talk is these are much more stable genetics and will show much lower risk of the hermie trait appearing spontaneously
i'm getting a bit skeptical if this process is so much better, it's the current dogma, but i'll keep reading on results posted like slimjim's

Someone, please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that the resulting seeds will either be hermie or female but no males. I have seen a hermie blueberry strain a few times and the majority of the seeds end up being hermie, never a male yet. I like hermies because you know you'll get some bud as long as you don't mind a few seeds. It beats putting a lot of love into a plant that turns out to be a male, imo.
This answer is absolutely correct.

my 1st grow was with some bag seeds...

The 3 femals that i did have went hermie on me and pollinated all the buds on all 3 of the plants...
Went through with the grow and harvested a couple 0unces of seeded bud...

Next i grew about 7 of the seeds that i got from those buds...
I found 1 male, 1 female and then threw them all away cause im just too nervous that there gonna turn hermie on me again and mess everything up...

Free seeds! Harvest those seeds when they're ready. Plant those seeds, get yourself a bottle of Dutch Master REverse & Saturator and follow the directions to the "T". Problems with pollen during mid bloom solved! The unenlightened and the weak will shit on Dutch Master Reverse and self-pollinated seeds, ignore them because those buds will be better if not, just as good as their parents and no less.

I just harvested a soil grow of a bagseed, AK48 and Blue Mystic. When I started the seeds they spent a few days below 60 degrees F. This was my first grow so NOW I have things pretty well arranged but I did end up with the bagseed having well, seeds. So that one I assume is/was a hermie. I am gonna keep the seeds but have no plans for them now.

I would not waste my time or energy on it, Pull it and start over! If you got your seeds from Attitude you should plant more then one or two at a time. Your Ph of soil and water will make your seeds decide what they are going to be also as well as temp. Get a book called (Horticulture or Cannibus Bible )by George Cervantes and you will no longer waste your precious time or resources growing half ass weed which still takes the same time money and effort to grow the kind! Really!

The problem with a Hermie as well is the buds will never get fat and full of cannabanoides. A female bud stops getting bigger once she is fertilized. She makes the sticky resin to attract and catch would be male pollen. If it is both male and female--- a hermie ---you are wasting time and resource for lanky crap.If you are outside you are spreading unwanted pollen for a few miles around you. Plant all seeds --- then cut clones wait for clones to root and then flower see which is the female and clone off her and get rid of the rest. You can actually keep the mamma on 16+ hours of light and she will not flower for a while maybe a year. Only clone after she is or it is old enough (uneven nodes on the plant) Label good. The one clone that clued you in on gender will be ready to dry when the other clones are ready to go to flower.
I go 30 days veg and 60 flower ( a factory)
