question for anyone who has ever failed a drug test!!

ok simple question here for anyone who has actually surely failed a drug test.....is it true as ive found researching online that the mro will contact you if you have failed?? i had a drug test a good 4 days ago and have heard nothing yet i was clean for 21 days so should be ok but worried just a bit....everything i find online states if u havent heard anything thats a good sign because usually within 72 hours of taking the test if you fail they will call you but if you passed the employer will contact you after they have the backround/dt results?? plus rep for any educated responses im gettin nervous here!!!

If you took a test on Friday, they won't bother to check until Monday. People who work at clinics and labs enjoy their Friday evenings like everyone else. Depending upon the organization you took the test for, they may have split the sample and sent it to another lab (prevents false "positive" readings.) They will contact you if there is a positive reading as they will want to be sure that you are not showing positive for "other" reasons.

it was for labcorp and on a thursday between like 3 and 5 pm...she put both samples in one bag so they went to the same place...but they would have contacted me by now for sure if i failed you think then??

I can't fill you with false hopes and promises; let the scumbag politicians fill that role. I would have to say that you are not out of the clear just yet; the people who perform these tests don't take it lightly, and tend to be consummate professionals who want to ensure they obtain the correct results the first time. If you were completely clean for 21 days, you are most likely good to go but that isn't exactly a guarantee now, is it?? Have a good dinner, rent a good movie, and see what tomorrow brings.

i am suspicious, that in the near future, unless im the only one to think of this, if it were up to me, and i wanted to be thourgh. id create a national registry. anyone who fails a drug test, gets put on it. in this way, noone who ever smokes the evil weed and gets caught, can cancel any plans to be allowed to get anywhere in life. actually, our pres might like this, as it would keep more dependant on gov handouts, like he has been orchastrating, by blocking jobs in the first place. off subject. if u have a prescription for marinol, keep it current. if u ever fail, they call and ask and u give them the script number, and they dont report u to the employer. however, i hear the powers that be a slowly making this a non-working remedy, in some places...live in a "redneck state" lol- and every one is looking for us. funny tho, only alquida is considered more dangerous than us pot smokers. maybe we should be proud (er).

well i failed a drug test after 47 days of being clean so that varies from person to person...lol. i wouldnt worry about it, there isnt much you can do anyways but wait for the results..BUT DONT SMOKE!

lol im not still...its killin me i have a nug of some purple kush just waiting for a happy phone call....and in the event of an unhappy phone call im going to deny deny deny and then offer to pay for a second try....a guy can hope right??..only other dt ive ever taken i was clean for 45 days and passed, i have a fast metabolism and didnt eat alot for the first 15 days so in theory i should have burned alot of it away with fat reserves and then the 6 days after that i drank alot of juice and ate alot to try and seal whatever was left in...idk im sure thats a crazy notion but i just tried what i could i was determined to do it the right way and not cheat either i pass or they can kiss my ass...the day before i drank alot and the day of i drank two glasses of water and a glass of oj and noticed my urine was too clear so i waited until the last possible moment and when i went it was a decent yellow, i mean i feel pretty confident i passed but i need this job so its stressing me out...i no what would help with the stress but...ya no cant do that lol

I failed a drug test a few years ago for a random DOT screen a few years ago and have done a ton of reading on the whole DT thing in general. The MRO must contact you first before he ruins your life by reporting your positive results. He has to make sure there isnt something that may have caused you a false positive, or in the case of other drugs, you can report to him a legal script number for any medication you might be on. Unfortunately, with MJ there are really no excuses and they dont accept any either. None of this " I was in a car with people who were smokin" and stuff like that. The call usually comes within 3 biz days from the time you gave the speciman and in drug testing no news is good news. When you pass you more than likely hear nothing back from them which kinda sucks

As a side note, I was caught once and had to take 6 more in a row as a condition of keeping my job and I passed the first 5. On the 6th and final one, we had smoked all through the holiday weekend and they hit me on Tuesday morning with the letter to go report. I knew I was done for, so I went down to the hospital, took the cup into the bathroom and sat it down. I pulled out me Johnson and pissed all over the floor, left the empty cup there, walked out of the hospital, went back to the job and turned in my keys and got in my truck and left.I wasnt going to let them see it in black and white that I was positive. I was a truck driver for thirteen years and the only driver in our company who had never been in an accident or ever even once ever wrecked a truck BTW. I never so much as put a scratch on my truck in all that time, and I had the cleanest truck on the road. You could eat off the floor of my trucks. But before I left I ran into the owner of the company and i said to him this:
"You drink beer dont ya"
"Yeah" he says
"And do you drink your beer while you're here at work?"
"No" he says
"Thats all I'm gonna say about it" I says, and I shook his hand and I left.

I still have a CDL license but I dont use it anymore, they can shove these laws up their asses sideways.

the place i was going to get a job for called me and told me i failed about 5 days after i took the test. One big misconception about drug tests is that drinking water for days leading up to it helps, that is not true. 24 hours prior to the test drink a bunch of water and thats only to dilute your piss it doesnt actually flush anything out of you.

I failed one and knew 2 days later.
So if you have not heard you should be good.

I have never failed one...but if I took one anytime recently I would have...

well ya tom is a week and still have heard nothing so im thinking maybe its taking them a while to get the driving record and backround test results back instead..im going to call them on friday if they dont call that would have given them ten days since i filled out the paper work!

well i decided to call them and got a bit of a run around on who is handling it so i just called the company they hired to do all the checks since it said the company name right above i played dumb and was like oh this isnt xx company oh i was just trying to find out whats next in the process...they proceeded to confirm my identity and said weve done everything we were hired to do so i was like ok and it was satisfactory? and they were like i cant give that info...so i call another number i had for the company and finally got the right person, she then said oh ok your references came back we are just waiting on the dt and backround check, now i call shenanigans because the test ppl told me they already finished all that!!! and im pretty sure they can then go right online to see the results...on the other hand she didnt mention failing the drug test but maybe they are being sneaky, she said it could take a week to two to get all the needed information back and then its forwarded to the hiring manager for a final decision and then she will call me....uhhhh now im worried again!!!!

I have never had to wait more than 3 days for the results of a drug screen maybe the lab is just backed up and a little behind. As far as being clean for 21 days goes it depends on a lot of factors like how much you smoke how much body fat you have thc stores in your body fat less body fat faster you are clean. thanks...the results of the dt im sure are in its just the place im getting a job said it will take 1-2 weeks for them to get all the results for the backround test and driving record as well...so since ive talked to them and im sure they have gotten the drug test results already im hoping that meant the drug test was ok but she said they are waiting for the drug test and backround check so idk im going back and forth from it must have been good to worried lol

also the thing is this company doesnt handle the drug test or backround check themselves they use a third party company...

if you have a job to protect keep 1 of these handy,i passed a drug test before using this drink, i smoked a shit load and got a random test, i walked to my locker , i topped it up with water from a bottle inside my locker ,took it out and drank it



it tastes horrible but it did the job and i was so stoned just a few hours before the test....
