Quit Trippin and get to Sippin

The 2 sips going back into rotation have been sitting dormant for a month or so. Saw some good worm activity when I removed the cover. Reammended the soil with 1.5 cups of Dr Earth Homegrown, ewc's, and a tbsp of Langbeinite.

Got everything mixed up, and a Dracarys seedling put in each. Seedlings sprouted early yesterday morning.

Life has been busy!! Harvested the 2 Goji plants in the 4x4, pulled just over 8 oz per plant of some beautiful buds. Respect Genetics always brings the fire.

Finally got a hold of some more Dracarys seeds from Katsu. Going with the single plant per sip from here on out, I love the results. I pop my seeds in Jiffy Pucks, and as soon as I see a root coming out, I put them in the sips. Planted these Oct 6

By the 19 they've found the reservoir and are off to the races.

By the 26th she was at full speed. You'll notice the back plant is much smaller. The first seedling I planted in that sip didn't make it, replaced it 10 days later with a fresh Dracarys seedling.

November 14th she had outgrown the 2x4. 4x4 was wide open, so she gets the whole tent to herself

On the 26th of November I put a scrog net in the tent and started spreading her out.

By December 6th she had filled the net out nicely. Flipped it to flower sometime around here.

And here she is a couple days ago, got bud sites forming. Just got to keep her fed!

The smaller Dracarys plant has the 2x4 all to herself now, and she is thriving. Very dense plant, these Dracarys throw off a million shoots. Made a little scrog net and started spreading her out. Gonna have to flip her soon.

Don't have any more recent pics, but she's about ready to flip.

Here are some prototype sips I'm trying out. I love my 15 gallon city pickers, until its time to rotate them. I have to carry them up and down a ladder, and its no fun. So I wanted to make some smaller sips. I call them the Ninja Turtle Sips, but don't think they're slow!

Using food containers for restaraunts. I end up with a 3 gallon reservoir, and 3 gallons of soil. Each sip has 2 wicks made of 2" pvc, filled with plain peat.

Plants are loving them so far. Ive got 4 Original Glue fems from GG Genetics in them.

Day 1 Nov 3

Screwed up my timer, they were only getting 6 hours of light per day. Once I fixed that, they took off!

I love them!! Just built 8 more :blsmoke: With the smaller soil capacity (3 gallons) I've had to do a little more work, but its nothing crazy. I've been using Ful-Power to help break down the dry ammendments faster, along with Neptune's Harvest. I top dress every 2 weeks now.
The larger reservoir compared to soil capacity has helped extend my time in between waterings. The roots completely fill the reservoir, maybe because of the air stones.
The small size allows me to easily move them around, and I can lift the soil container to check the reservoir and roots.
The containers are well built, nice thick plastic. Should be able to get a lot of years out of them. :bigjoint:
