ran out of weed - chop early?

Maybe tough it out a while and get full yield and quality? The 1/4 of ~meh~ you get now would have been a full 'zee of ~yeah~ ... cn
 
well these plants are like horrible genetics...here's 2 shots from just now. I clipped a lot of buds of it, just the cola is left...still has some time to go, calyxs haven't swelled up still. Not sure how long this will go on

without more info - i'm picturing the cookie monster eating cookies before they are finished baking.
c'mon man, let the cookies finish cooking.

but if you have a condition that needs treatment then chop and blaze gloriously.
 
Are you kidding? Dont do that. Thats rediculous, it wont even get youhigh! Or barely. If you are that hard up on weed, go to a cornerstore, wait for somone to buy a blunt, and then explane your situation to them, they'll probably help you out....dont chop your plant up early, thats horrible

i chopped early due to fungus gnats last winter and my yeild was definitely lower than it would have been. the smoke was good. i think that looks ready to chop if u want to but you still have to wait for it to dry and cure. it's not instant smoke. just go to the store and get a small bag to carry u over. that's what i do.

why would you chop for fungus gnats? that seems odd.
 
these pics SUCK! My Evo 4G is supposed to have like an 8MP camera with auto everything...I'll try again. I'm looking at the calyxs again and they don't seem to be that fat...but I'm wondering if the strain just doesn't develop fat calyxs in general. The pistils are like 80% colored now...but the bud doesn't look that fat...wtf. Be back after I smoke these popcorn buds I put in the oven and take more pics

go ahead and chop them... your putting the bud in a oven (micro-wave is faster and ruins ur weed better) so it's not gonna matter.
U spent how many months growing these just to waste them, heck just leave the door open and maybe someone will comin and rip off the rest..
Did u even grow them?? I can't belive how stupid some folks get around weed...
But on the other hand u have some nice looking Bud there.
 
it's really compact and tight. I would like for the calyxs to fill out, but I remember smoking the shit this seed was from, and it was just tight little spears...you couldn't really see calyxs, it was just like a solid mass.
Well I smoked a popcorn nug and I feel pretty good...eyes are wanting to shut, eyelids feel heavy, slowed down heart rate, fogginess, mellow...yeah this shit is going to be AAA...I'll try to give it 1-2 more weeks. I still have 2 sat dominant pieces of garbage that will probably take another 3-4 weeks idk
PS you can definitely quickly dry samples in the oven - 200 for 7 mins usually does it. Wouldn't actually dry whole harvests this way though

edit: yup I am definitely high. Saturday morning no weed miracle
 
I've chopped early and gotten stoooooooooooned! I say do it so you can learn when its too early to pick. Just do it... do it do it do it do it do it do it do it

your biggest prob will be not letting dry good... do NOT microwave. or do a lil to see why not to. really 3 days is the bare min. after 4-5 it starts tasting better. sometimes 3 days of dry is ok too. befoer you smoke 3 day old bud chop it up and let that sit a lil bit before loading it... just experiment and see what works. there are MANY right ways to get it in your brain ;)

i didn't like them and it was too close to harvest to control properly so i just chopped. it was dumb but i did have a decent yield and the weed tasted great and got me stoned. no biggie. i should have waited.
