We have that exact same machine up at our cabin. Mom used to use it to make clothes for us kids when we had rainy days. No power up there and she learned from her mom on one like it. I see those on marketplace sometimes for $100 - $250 still.I've needed some clothes repaired for a while. Stuff where iron on patches and hand stitching won't quite cut it, needs a machine but BB don't want to pay a tailor for repair so the stuff just sits. Lo and behold our local library has sewing machines for loan! Been a while since I used a Singer...

I used to get under it and get that treadle going as fast as I could. All fun and games until you get your fingers under it and it jambs tight against the floor mashing your digits. lol
