always have always will my friend, gotta love em. i like the semi air tight-ness so u can get ur negative pressure going and my one has the super reflective stuff on the inside. i have 1m x 1m x 2m although they come in all shapes. i have a secret jarden tent http://www.secretjardin.com/ some people like em, some dont, i like mine lol. they come with enough holes to get my separate air cooled light as well as my intake and outake

True that.

How well do they hold in the odor? I'm wondering what would be the best way to set one up. I have the vert room that I could redo to fit in the 4X4 and I'm going to see if I can get a mover this other dude is selling that I could put in the 4X8 with my 1K light in there. I currently only have one filter so I guess I'd have to vent them both into the large room and have an exhaust fan/filter combo in there to exhaust the whole thing. I could just cool the lights by pulling air from outside the room through the lights and back out to the outside and put an exhaust fan on each tent for air exchange inside the tents. They'd be pulling air from inside the room through the tents and pushing it back out into the room where it could be exhausted to the outside via the filter.

Otherwise I'd have to get another filter and have a filter inside each tent I guess.

unless u run the rooms alternate times to one another u may struggle with the heat if it was all in "one big room", depends on ur setup though i guess.

did u watch the vid? seemed 2 moan about a bit of light leaks, nothing a bit of duct tape wont sort :)

I watched the vid, most of it anyway. I skipped through since it was a bit lengthy.

The new room will be either 10X10X9'tall or 10X12X9'tall, not sure yet how long I'll make it and really depends on how my back holds up while building. There's vents that go directly to the outside of the building that I plan on using to pull air in and push it back out of for cooling the lights so this time of year everything should run pretty cool. During summer months I'll kick the AC on but for now I'd like to save on elec. I'm mostly concerned with odor control since things are gettin funky with the grow and it's only going to get worse.

As far as light leaks go, I'm not really concerned about them too much if I use tents. The big room will have no windows so the only light will be whatever lights i run. There will need to be a veg area but I can put a curtain around that if needed to minimize light around the outside of the tents and just hook up a small fan to exchange the air in that area with the big room.

I was planning on running the flowering lights on opposite schedules though so there's never over 2K being drawn from the elec panel at one time.

I got a light rail 3.5 and am trying to figure out what will be the best combination to use with it. I have two 600s and a 1K and can use any comination of the three on it. I plan on building a new vert setup in the new spot and want to run the light rail over some plants too. I'll try to connect the light rail to the lights for the vert grow too and will counterbalance the whole thing so theres little to no resistance added by pulling the vert lights up and lowering them down.

Basically trying to decide between keeping two 600s in the vert and putting the 1K over a 4'X8' space. Putting the 1K light in the vert and running both 600s over a 3'x10'. Lastly, not using the 1K at this time since I have concerns about running the magnetic in a grow away from my house and doing one 600 in the vert and the other on the light rail over a 3'X6' space.

I'm open for suggestions on this.

After checking the plants closely today right before the lights came on I decided to pull the autos and one of the Afghan Kush plants.

I didn't have much time tonight so I just hung them in as few pieces as possible and trimmed the fan leaves only. I'll trim them up closer tomorrow and let them dry for a few days to a week depending on weather.

The first two pics are of all three plants hanging before and after an initial trim. Third pic is the Roadrunner auto. Fourth and fifth pics are the Afghan Kush, the sixth pic is the Haze auto and the last pic is the roots of the Roadrunner. There's only three plants there, one of each strain.

Thanks guys. They're all pretty small but most of them feel pretty solid. All three plants are pretty frosty, I'm excited to finally be trying the Afghan and based on how the Haze grew I'm wanting to see how it smokes to determine if I'll buy more beans of it. I think if it was topped it would be a great plant to grow whether auto or not it would be an easy plant to grow for wnyone and a good yielder.

After about 4 hours, I' done trimming the buds. I noticed the haze has some purple in it which is kind of cool. They all three look and smell very different from one another too.

I took a few pics and tried to get some of the buds with the purple in them but It's not really showing up. You can kind of see it in one of the pics. The first 2 are the Afghan and the others are the Haze
