Most of the "evidence" that weed is helpful to the sick has come from anecdotal and first hand expression of benefits. If we relied on the AMA we would be screwed. And not in a good way.

Everything's relative. To say nothings been achieved is wrong imo. There is great momentum today compared to even 15 years ago. Is it wise to pull back and rest when your on a roll? (admittedly a slower roll that some would like?) IDK. Imo I think we should press it for all its worth. I think the truth about pot is on our side and its getting out there. I don't think once the cats out of the bag its as easy to put it back in the second time, as it was the first.

I'll stick with my original point. If you think usurping medical MJ is a way of mainstreaming it, I think you are doing a disservice to the truly sick. Period..... One step at a time. Corrupting med MJ will only result in a backlash.

Educating people about the true property's and benefits of pot is not upsuping MMJ. Calling pot "medicine" for the less sick is a matter of semantics in the long run. This is my opinion, I could be wrong.

I think your post say it all. He has no medical condition. Yet you automatically inferred one as to why he has a need for MJ..... poppycock, and you are not helping the cause.

"I loved this project with all my heart and it was the only cure to my depression from life". When I read this part of his post, I thought he meant pot helped his depression. after rereading the post I see I was wrong about his need for medicinal pot. Sorry..however, I stand by my other posts.
