So basically the young girlies (6 freebies from nirvana) are about 10-11 days since breaking soil now, and most of them are curling up the sides of their leaves.
I'm growing with the following:
soil with 2x 135W 5500K and 2x 20W 2700K CFLs.
2 fans= 1 input (bottom) and 1 extract (top).
Nirvanas soil tabs (1/4 tablet in each girl).
Mineral water for watering.
Different sized pots (experimenting).
Mylar from reflection.
The temp is pretty constant at 24-26 degrees Celsius, which I hear is pretty good, however my humidity ranges from 37-50% mostly around 40% which I don't think is very good for vegging but I cant really seem to higher it and don't have the possibilities atm to buy a humidifier.
Ph I don't know as I haven't gotten around to buying a tester yet.
The lights started at about 1 inch from the plants until I noticed the curling and since then I put them up to 5" from the tops. However it did not change anything, I read that this is probably heat stress but with the temperatures stated above??
Here are some pics of the girlie where it is most noticable:
I know it is a very small 'pot', but I'm not planning on vegging for long, was actually planning on topping/FIM'ing now and flower after recovery and I hear it is ok to do so in a small container such as the one I'm using for this girl. Please tell me if I am wrong as I am a 1st timer and not too sure, all I know is from many days shadowing the forum here
Please if anyone has any idea what is happening here please tell me and also if you think I could still top them although this is happening (new growth has not stopped).
