Rebooting due to Spider Mites, how long to wait?

So some bitch ass spider mites invaded my garden and caused nothing but trouble for me; especially during final stages of flowering. I am tired of buying snake oils and god knows what poisons trying to control these sons of bitches. So I decided to sprout a male and let it all goto seed then wipe everything out, not a green leaf in the house. Its a shame to lose these wonderful mothers but I am sure with the 1000's of seeds I have something good will sprout. Anyways back to my question. How long should I wait before sprouting. I want to make sure these mites are completely gone before I try again. I was thinking they survive the winter without food so I am looking at at least 3 months right? I cleaned everything spotless, but I know that doesn't guarantee i got them all. I need to be sure these fuckers wont come back.

when you get mites in late flower, the best thing is to catch it early and spray the living shit out of them, but before doing said epic spray you should maybe spray them with neem, marigold flowers, peppers boiled in water then strained with cheesecloth, garlic(not powdered), and just about any other organic thing you could spray them with. sorry for your loss though, it happens to even the bests of us, the only thing we can do is watch them closely and take as many preventative measures as possible(companion growing with marigolds, adding garlic to their topsoil, and spraying the bottoms of fan leaves with neem and marigold flowers has done very well for me in the past). as for those seeds, let them fully mature, they should sort of pop out of their seed casings and i believe this is when they're good, i give em a few weeks in darkness then plant them. to get rid of those pesky fuckers you should probably spray your surrounds with h202, then give it a good spray with regular water. ive heard lining your room with pine oil keeps them away, but keep it far from your plants. in veg stage, you should spray your plants with the spray i suggested for late flower, and also add a teaspoon of canola or vegetable oil to your foliar(give it a good shake too), it works as somewhat of fly paper, any bugs that step in it will be stuck there and will thus die. i spray the canola on the walls and outsides of my pots as fly paper, youd be amazed how many things get caught on it.

hope that helped, for your next grow try to watch very close for spots on the leaves, check the bottoms of their leaves especially, the earlier you catch it the better.

Gas the place a couple times and go. They coming from outside? Pets can bring em in. Maybe some cheap test plants at first. As stated preventive spraying too.

I got the little buggers last january. I tossed out my grow, pots, utensils whatever i thought might harbor the little bastards. Then I bombed with Dr Doom and added azamax to my feeding schedule. haven't seen them since. good luck.

ye smoke bomb youre grow area than add a few predators is another option just to make sure. or if you have no plants in there.my friend smoke is head of in the area before planting then cleans down as nicotine is deadly to them . but at the minute with the mosaic virus on the up might not be the best idea and the info on hows in past on is a bit sketchy.

also if you get them back and whant to try and force them to a certain area for a swift killing. turn youre plant upside down. dont forget to cut a circle shape piece of cardboard out with a slit in to put round youre stem to make it easy to turn the plant upside down ok its easy when they small . when you do the mites get all confused and will run to the base of youre stem. easy killing no sparing shit all over the plant ect ect it works ive seen it with me own eyes or heres a link. good site to.

i got the fuckers by adding a catnip plant i bought at lowes to the grow room.... worst mistake ever.

My friends have a 6 light grow and when they first found the spider mites they only lightly sprayed with Neem rather than saturating (they hate spraying). Within 2 weeks the crop was ruined. They have a rough concrete floor which can't be swept clean so they had to use the bug bomb to restart. I have smooth laminate flooring in my grow which is very easy to clean.

Don't throw out ur equipment. just wash it and then bleach dip.

shit, grow marigolds if your gonna grow anything in there, and mint. they're natural mite deterrents.
