I have a thing for red hair. If I could dye mine Lucille Ball Red and actually look good I'd do it in a heartbeat. Especially women. My SO has very dark coloring (what can I say? Love black hair on the males, beards a plus LOL) but red hair is so vibrant and gorgeous.

I think @curious2garden is a red head right? And we were just treated to @see4 post in the Ballz to the wall thread….Geez

More points if you're a natural…. but dyed ok too.

I'm more of a dark Blonde with red undertone. I can't consider myself a redhead ever because I'm light olive skinned and tan easily.

Red hair I s the hardest colour to dye and the skin has hardly any melanin in their skin. Their freckles are their melanin defense skin sun defense and this is why they all join up.

I've been pretty much copper penny red, very pale, lots of light freckles, which give me sort of overall green cast, incredibly unattractive, but does match the green eyes. When I would enter a room it would go silent. I learned to use that to my advantage later on but it made for a very tough adolescence. Plus my nickname is Annie my actual name is a male name. Add ginger hair, boy's name and my attitude and I spent most of 7th grade upside down in trash cans.

Yes you do remember those days (garter belts and nylons)! Yeah THOSE days. I came from an extremely ritzy private school (all my friends went off to Switzerland for 7th grade). I was completely socially inept. Someone made the mistake of touching me and I'd come out swinging and I could take down the first few but after that...... well you know......

whoa.. what was the name of the Swiss school? My mother and aunts and uncle went to a private Swiss boarding school in the 60s.

Did you know there have been ginger Sicilians for 7-800 yrs?

I am not one of them
I would hope not or I could not like you, that way :) My heart beats quick for those raven haired men with blue or hazel eyes. But it's the black locks that draw me in.... sigh........ almost forgot the slicked back look on the raven haired.... you remember.
