I remember stomping my butts out in the isle of the grocery store. Working as a receptionist for a big fancy company with an ashtray under my nose...smoking on an airplane, nowhere was off limits...even hospitals!! Cigarettes were "Doctor recommended" and we didn't have a clue that they were bad for you.

Ounces were "Lids" lids were about ten bucks and were measured by fingers...you lay your fingers across the bag....there was a 4 finger lid and a 5 finger lid.
There weren't really any buds in a lid, we would take out our album covers and a pack of rolling papers and sift out the seeds and stems...you were left with a pile of plant matter suitable to roll a joint with.
All we smoked was joints. That and honey oil and hash, hash came from where it was made, pot came from where it was grown (Mexico, Thailand, Jamaica etc). Homegrown was something to be avoided at all costs, it tasted like chlorophyll and was not a good thing!!
