Im about to reveg a big buddha blue cheese plant. It has about 3 wks left on flower. Do you top/prune the plant at all? A friend of mine believes in only picking the bud & leaving the plant as is, but this is a 4 1/2 ft tall plant that i trained to branch like a christmas tree (newbie tryin shit...) I want it to have more main colas but she's such a beauty id hate to just chop her up...suggestions??

Cut off and harvest top 2/3 of plant. I trimmed about a third off the rootball gently. Put in a bigger pot with some new super soil. Fed a good dose of N and put off to the side of my mh running 24/7 lights. Minimal water and in a couple weeks they start growing again. Good luck.

65 days since start of reveg. Hear lot's of folks say it takes a month or two before reveg takes off. Mine have now been flowering a little under 2 weeks and look way better than original start from seed grow over the winter. They are twice the size as seed plants with same veg time. To each his own I guess.

2 weeks today since switch to 12/12. Lots of little buds starting up. The main cola stems are really fattening up. Hope it's a good sign of things to come. Fighting high humidity the last few days. I am now running a dehumidifer and emptying it 3 times in a 24 hour period. Trying to keep it at 50% for now. Will drop it every week or so till they really get budding. Then run at 30%. Anyone ever use the water from a dehumidifier? Be alot easier then running up and down stairs. Shitty pic of one of the reveg. Will get better ones showing buds later. She's a little droopy needs some water.

Just want to add. Grown in my own super soil with lime added. My well water has a ph of 8.0. My soil ph is 6.8. No worries here. I don't adjust my water, don't adjust my nute mix I know longer even bother checking! Heard it on here enough by some folks if your soils good no worries about PH. Gospel to me now!

3 weeks since switch to 12/12. Second smallest reveg in pic. Can't fit the big girls out of the room anymore. Outdoor pics are the same 2 start from seed plants. They are nice, topped once and going strong. No comparison to reveg though. Opinions?
i'm pacing you with a revg vs. seed grows
about 3-4 weeks i'll have my data point, but a few thoughts do pop forward
reveg and cfl's seem to go together well, much like topping or LST, the bulbs get closer to more buds, and that's what you want for cfl's
2nd thought is that some plants/strains are bigger producers when topped, but not all strains are like that
some do better with the single stalk
the more comparison grows the better i guess, lots of variables running around

Well hands down to reveg for me. I'm using a 600 watt hps for flower ran a mh for veg. The reveg are double the start from seed. Even being outdoors in 15 gls of soil the start from seed are way behind the reveg. Not saying all strains are this way but, I will be trying this method with all my best girls from here on out. 4 months start to finish with reveg vs start from seed. 2 zips per plant vs who knows with reveg! Any Guesstimates on reveg? They are all over 4ft tall biggest over 5ft . I'm guessing at least 4 zips per plant. 6 for the 2 big girls. Didn't touch the reveg except clearing out some jungle underneath.

My current reveg finishing up under the FERO336x3W led, was grown 100% leds, using only 135Watts up until a week ago when I put it under the FERO (the reveg is the one in the laundry basket, there is 2 plants but the chemo didnt reveg all that well, not enough time, still growing nice buds but they are hidden behind the conKushion on those pics)

My previous reveg, a Grapefruit, it did really well under only 135w LEDs.

I am sold on the revegging thing, at least one extra round for any good seeds. I am trying to reveg a couple outside at the moment.

Next time around I will reveg a little longer, but I still got really good results just flipping 12/12 as soon as I saw normal leaves

Got 3.2 zips off last grow with my best plant it being my first real indoor grow. This round these girls are kicking ass on last time. They are almost double the size of last start from seed and the rootballs are amazing on the reveg. Check out my last grow with same purple kush strain and compare for yourself. 8pk purple kush by Dozer

Well, theres always next time. Why pay money for fem seeds or clones when you can reveg in the same amount of time, it takes to grow from seed or clones?

Shitty pic but, 24 days since switch to 12/12. Buds are really cranking now. Feeding almost full dose General Organics GO line. Teas every 10-14 days. Think I should have only ran 2 plants. Space is limited now!

Hi Dozer! So glad you made this thread since I am currently revegging a couple of sativas outdoors. They didn't finish the first time as well as I would have liked. They were in the 12th week of flowering, but still needed more time for the buds to completely mature. When I could see that they were revegging, I harvested most of the buds and they are revegging pretty well after a week. I think that they are going to be monsters. I have the tallest one, that was originally the main cola strapped down and each individual bud is becoming a separate branch! The other branches from which the larger buds were removed are growing much slower, but they are definitely showing new growth. My plants from seed are doing great also, but I think from now on, I will definitely reveg my spring crop.
