hey friend, ive only grown scrog, and man im tellin you next time you may consider having individual pot/screen setup. i had 4 under one big screen in a cramped space and i really had to contort to water and trim. trimming most of the under growth away is essential to direct energy to buds instead of the dense bush below. i thought, if i could only spin the the things around and trim, it would save time and energy. my screen was attached to walls so there was no movin anything around.. dowels at each corner of a single square planter with 1' square screen on top seems to be most practical. just some friendly advice. good luck bud
That is a great point you have. I initially started with 3 under the screen and pulled one out before switching to 12/12.. just foresaw a problem once they started to stretch. And if you take a look at some of the earlier pics, you will see that I have put the entire screen system on wheels. I just pull the entire thing out from under the light and can access all sides easily. I will try to take some better pictures showing this.
Siiiccckkk lookin grow man. Anyway I could get u to post a pic of the entire setup I can't seem to piece it together by looking at a little at a time. I like the caster idea but maybe its the weed I can't put it together lol. But I'm scribin to this one for sure.
Hey erkelsgoo, thanks for stopping by, I will try to take some better pictures of the entire setup for you. My camera has trouble with all of the excess light coming off the 1000 watter. But i will try to give you and written explanation and then post pics.
1.)I took a "creeper" that car mechanics use to work under cars. Heavy duty casters and 2X4 frame would work just fine. Just happened to have the creeper laying around.
2.)I placed a piece of 3/4" plywood on top of the creeper so that I could screw in the vertical supports for the screen. This also provides a nice flat surface to place my runoff tray on.
3.) I screwed scrap 2X4's on each corner of the sheet of plywood to provide a good anchor for the vertical supports.
4.) Just used scrap 5" wide fencing pickets cut the the appropriate size for the vertical supports. Once each support was screwed in place I added braces connecting each vertical support.
5.) Screw the screen in place on one end, stretch the other end taught and tack it in place.
That is exactly what I did, you could modify these instructions according to your plans... I 'll go take some better pics for ya!
