Ripening after harvest

If you can get us some pictures of the whole plant/ full buds it would give a better idea of how far into the ripening process you really are. If you are only leaving for a week you could easily leave the plant until you get back and harvest it then.
 
This is from about a week ago. Lights are off now I can get better pics tonite

It would be worth it like the other user posted. If the trip is unavoidable then i suggest harvest. I saw pics of a guy who got bud rot on his beautiful buds after leaving them for “a few days”. I dunno the veracity of his claims, but it made me think twice about leaving flowering plants without care for more than a day or so…

I'm gonna chop her before I leave. I have a room setup for drying in proper conditions so hopefully it will turn out ok
 
Your a dwc grower? How often do you have to add to the rez? If it's finishing they don't eat too much, if it's eating big it might not be close. Can you run a bigger rez for when your gone? A bigger rez anytime is more stabile from what I have read.

It hasn't been eating much this last couple of weeks. She takes about 1/2 gallon a day or so at roughly 750 ppm. I run in 5gal buckets so I can't increase rez size. My next run I'm gonna try a rdwc setup with a large rez. This is my first hydro grow so I wanted to go simple and cheap to see if it was what I wanted. I also have a plant in Coco that's doing great. Thanks for your insight
 
Me personally. (I respect everyone's diffrent)
I wait till that girl has nothing but orange hairs swollen. Hairs Retracting back into the bud. Leaves yellowing out. Just looks done. Ready. But my flowering period is usually always 2 weeks longer than the breeders time.

No breed info on this one it's just random bagseed from my collection from the last few years. Most pistal have gone orange and buds are quite swollen and heavy. I've actually had to tie some up to keep from breaking some of my smaller branches are already bent over or broken from the weight of the buds.
