the rules are in place bcuz that obviously cant advertise the fact that ppl use drugs there, inforcement of the rule is like impossible, dun ferget we have rights despite wat ppl r sayin about new search n seizure laws, if the cops or DEA wantd to bust u they would take ur IP address n bust ur grow at home, bustin 1000 stoners all with little possession sounds like i waste of money n man power, even if u went there n the cops would wanna get us, what are they goin to do? follow us from home? pull every1 over that drives up that street? once ur on their property ur free and clear, the cops r happy known that we r on sum1s privite property instead of out vandalizin stuff like they think we would be, just like they hand out ecstasy testers at raves n online n at the pig corrals, not to bust ppl but to be safe cuz ppl r gunna do it ne way, on privite property its the owners problem, so sober up n think about the idea so ur all not so fuckn paranoid, u have just as much chance bein bustd drivin ne where as u do drivin to and from this place, just dun be stupid, and hippy jams have all sorts of drugs, u all act like theyre goin to bust us for just pot, considerin not every1 here grows, it couldnt b advertised as a marijuana expo obviously, bsides the fact its not 1, its just a RIU Convention

i think this is a sweet idea, and there has to be more places then that that have the same benifits in other states, maybe we should find one that is as decriminilized as possible, in my state u get a apperance ticket for under a oz, a 100 dollar fine, and its a civil citation, not even a misdemeaner

In summation, a RIU convention is a stoner's dream, but a logistical nightmare

just as much of a nightmare as settin up nethin of this size, the fact we r stoners doesint increase the effort one would have to put into this

It's a great idea and totally doable. It needs to be in a "pot-friendly" state, registration would be done directly with the trusted mods here and they could pass it off to whoever they trust to actually keep track of who is coming. Our nicks could be used instead of our real names. We would need to have a list of suggestions like "Don't bring plants or a bunch of weed, an ounce or less. Seeds would be allowed and we could have vendors selling bongs, growing equipment, vaporizers, T-shirts, grinders, water hash bags, and whatever else anyone might want to bring. There wouldn't be enough incentive to interest the cops; they aren't interested in busting out of town pot heads there for a little fun. Sounds good to me!
