He came out of the pit with a hole in his skull that perfectly matched the heel of my yellow stiletto.
gee, this girl likes a spiritual party...

My grey hairs may be showing, but you have to listen to ELECTRIC LADYLAND, the whole album, with the lights out. (In surround sound)

I see why He called it a sound painting - you can actually visualize the sounds moving around you.

I recommend Electric Ladyland 150%. The Jimi Hendrix Experience are the most talented trio of musicians I have ever heard. I have all the experience Lps on vinyl, and Electric Ladyland is my favorite album of all time:

Shit, then you know about places like Al's Bar (nearby Little Tokyo and the L.A. train station) and clubs like 7 Seas and.. dammit, the punk club's name I'm drawing a blank on.. I wanna call it The Carthage.. or something like that. :D

I mostly hung out at the clubs in West Hollywood... Rainbow, Roxy (where I worked), Whiskey, Gazzarris, Troubadour, Cat House. There was one club we used to go to downtown... it was like a 7 story building... each floor was a different theme with a different style of music.... that place was the BOMB... and for the life of me I can't remember the name of it.....

Another notable group, definitely. However, a whole lot of these are a whole lot of "been there, done that", and I'm a woman who tends to crave change (even IF the devil ya know is better than the devil ya don't ;) ), new, fresh.

Let's try a little something different. It's rock but it's not..? It's Queens of the Stone Age--Mosquito Song. Alright, it's a lot different, but that's why I love it. 8)
