Stoney.. about the only thing you listed there that I could even stand is the Ramones (RIP Joey). My HUSBAND, on the other hand, he would be totally down for what you put out there.

Was never much into Quiet Riot. Scorps were OK (Michael Shanker was good though). Smithereens...very cool. As for "Hair Bands" I liked Motley Crue ("Primal Scream", "Shout at the Devil"...oh yeah).
Anyone listen to any early Journey? Not the "Bubblegum" crap with Steve Perry, but the early stuff (1st 3 albums) w/ Greg Rollie on vocals. Greg Rollie and Neal Schon (best guitarist ever) broke away from Santana to form Journey...excellent Jazz/Rock/Fusion stuff...rippin' instrumentals. You wouldn't know they're the same band.
