im a 1st time grower and i was wondering for the vegetative state(im not useing a Hydroponicd system) can i use a Rock wool cube for that and the Flowering stage.

so what soil? or you mean rockwool and clay pellots? or just rockwool?

you can use just rockwool yeah ... just go from the 1 inch up to the largest or even a slab .. just add another below it when the roots outgrow ..

all right i just don't want to hassle with the soil and the dirt all over my room, another question do i have to water more or less.

more than soil

they will dry quite fast.. i would water a few times a day with a dripper..
it depends.. give it a shot .. but i would use soil rather than that .. tbh ..

once the soils in the pot its hassle free.. no mess really and you only need to water every few days..

all right, then ill just use soil i just want to see if there is a alternative way other than soil. but yea just trying to make my grow as good as possible.

well , what did the internet say when you GOOGLED it ?
How about when you read some of the threads ?

I use 3" rockwool cubes and hydroton in 8" net pots for most of my plants. I started with 6x6x7 planters, but for a 100 day lifecycle I thought it was too small. With this kind of planter/medium, you'd use a constant drip. I use ebb/flow and feed 3 or 4 times/day for 15 minute floods.

so far i have a 15inch and a 12inch plant in 3x3 cubes.

i feed with an EC level of 1.5 every day they are happy enough. ph is 5.8

if you do a little research first you will avoid people being "dicks"

we all have to research at some point.

i like urban garden magazine for my handy tips when trying new things.
