sorry so many questions but you seem to know without looking.
how many drivers for 40 of them strips ? i can figure out all the wiring and such myself....i just wanted a rough guess for pricing reasons. Thanks again.

I am not the best to answer that as i relied on forums myself for help with the driver decision and electrical wiring and it was 3 years ago i last went thru this. Theres two different types of drivers and wiring, constant current drivers with series wiring which is what i did, or constant voltage driver in parallell which is what prawn did. Theres tons of different build examples and different ways to go based on the space you have and how hot you want to run them.

Weird, im looking at it right now and it will still let me order up to 100. Either way im sure it will disappear just like their f strips deal lasted like 2 days.

Arrow does that sometimes, it ususally doesnt last long, if you look the 3500k and 5000k in the same series are still $11+.

Thanks for the info, they must've had more than 100 because they let me order 54 of the 3000k also lol. I ordered some of the 4000k too.
Damn it I had 24 of of those 3000k in my cart and 48 of the 4000k. I had to take a work call and got distracted. Went back to complete purchase and all the 3000k are gone :( Oh well I have no more space for tents anyway was going to grab them just bc I cant resist deals. Hopefully they bring some stock back or the 144 diode ones drop back to $2.80

Got an email saying they ran out of inventory. Shit! haha. Are there other sites like this I should keep my eye on for deals of this nature?

Did you hear about the sale on here or do you get a newsletter from Arrow or something?

100 is an awful lot for veg and supplemental lighting, if you ran them soft like i do that would still be 1600ish watts and like 2500+ if you ran them hard.

Im no light temperature expert but im sure 4k will still produce some fine flowers.

I read a few journals/experiments that were saying 4k was producing denser buds and more trichomes, and that 3k was causing more of a stretch/longer buds. Hard to establish what is true and false though, considering some cultivar probably grow better under one spectrum than the other. I don't see why they wouldn't work for flower, the simple idea that 4k is for veg and 3k is for flower isn't necessarily always true, but it does make sense to a degree. My current lights are a mix of 3k and 4k with some far red in there, they're just spider farmers, I didn't make them or anything lol. At this point though, I 100% plan on building my next lights myself, so much cheaper.

I saw about the F series here,
I found this because i was looking thru my orders from 2017, and these are the same strips i ordered back then, and noticed the price. I looked thru all the different strip series i could find but it seemed it was just this and the 4k. Back in 2017 i paid $13.84CAD a strip and have been quite happy with them, todays price was $1.72 cad, so i noticed right away.

I'm going to have to keep a closer eye on this LED sub-forum lol. Gems! I went ahead and ordered a 250 of the 4000k. I got a friend who wants a bunch, I'll build a couple beastly veg lights and then sell the rest to other friends who might want them. Figure fck it, why not, they're so cheap... it's like 90-95% cheaper than anywhere else I can find those same strips.
