We weren't "visiting a neighborhood". These are remote, isolated places. You poor thing. It must have been so hard being FORCED to go to a neighborhood where you were a minority while all those people who were different from you were obviously congregating freely of their own accord just to make you feel like an interloper...
How dare they make you feel unwelcome?
I chose to go. We flew in or boated in. We dropped into their villages, into their culture at their invitation. Like I said, most runs were great. A couple weren't.
