Ohh yeah, my girls are social sluts!!

Happy New Year all!

Quick update on the Satori.

The two that I freaked out and put into soil after about a day in towels have sprouted! Woo HOO

Bad news the two I stuck it out with and then put into root cubes are doing nothing at all.

Tahoe, yep some success, but I'm gonna be pissed if the other two don't sprout. Then I've got a 50-50 shot at a female with only two plants, needed 4 for the odds makers!

I did the paper towel method the first time,,never again,,I work so am gone all day,,my plate would dry up and shit,,ever since I just drop em in dirt,,pointy side down,,bout an inch and a half,,lightly cover,,keep wet,,and bam,,usually within 48 hours,,it is above dirt,,and solidly rooted,,in nature,,seeds fall,,boom,,next year there is a plant or a tree,,no one comes along and does what we try to do with paper towels and stuff,,seriously,,wet dirt,,and insert,,lol,,keepin an eye on the RockyMountain

Thanks Hole, I'm with ya on that. I think my 'old' method was great for old seeds that needed it. I put them into towels and then into a baggie, propped open, on top of my floro light. My thinking is they are on the same 18/6 schedule as my seedlings so hopefully the temp change is 'nature like' in helping them grow, if that makes any sense.

I am going to drop the other two into soil today, probably, hopefully they will turn around and sprout for me.

i just put in paper tower, leave on the pc/cable box where its warm, and after a day or 2 when the tap root is about 3 to 4 mm then i just drop into soil, and pit under flos. works every time as long as there is a tap root. hope all yours grow, and happy new year.

Thanks Crazy,

I decide to put the two in root cubes into soil.

I also have 4 'mystery seeds' that are now germinated, towel method. I put two into root cubes and the other straight into soil. We will see if there is a difference on this second set of seeds.

good stuff man,,experimentation,,thats what can help us all:mrgreen:,,if we were more like scientists on Discoverey channel,,and kept super-detailed notes,,,then all our cupboards closets old fridges and freezers armoires,,basements and even ghetto cardboard grows,,would look like fdd2blk's backyard:hump::hump::hump::hump::hump::hump::hump::hump::hump::hump:

Well the two Satori seeds in root cubes have done nothing, zip, zilch, zero.

The other two that I put into soil are doing excellent! They are already about an inch or so tall! In one Freakin day! I'm excited.

The 'mystery seeds' have not sprouted yet, maybe a couple more days.

yeah from all I've seen....there certainly is a lot of variability....my last seeding popping exercise....of 6 - 5 popped, and one dud, and then one didn't sprout, and then one male, and then there were three.....

Yeah I know. I feel like a dope though as the site clearly stated DO NOT USE PAPER TOWEL METHOD. I did read that after I started my 'failsafe' way, but I don't think it would have mattered, I'm pretty stubborn and it had worked so damn well in the past!

Ohh well, maybe now I will have to keep a male for seeds? I don't know but I do know I have 2 seedlings and six seeds left.

It sucks to write DUD on them as I was so worried about he shipping etc. But maybe I will eat them bitches! Hannibal Lector style with a nice chianti!

hahahahaha...no worries...ust watched Hannibal Rising again yesterday....twisted...totally twisted....the only certainty is change and variability....everyone's circumstances are different, and we all do what we do cuz at the time we believe it...its how we learn....my dad used to say, as long as our mistakes do not kill us or end us in jail...then just try to not make the same one too often.......hahahahaha....I like to Towel method......but then I have prolly never had fresh beans either....even the ones that I purchased were in October last year, and then sprouted more than a full year later.....ciurcumstances....its all good in the end, and if its not good yet....its not the end yet.

Thanx brother, I truly appreciate it. Pops have a way with words don't they? too bad it takes so long to figure out that you don't know shit and they've been telling you the truth the whole time!
