Okay so I was given as full grown plant that has mg for soil had 1 15w kitchen fluorescent + a window for light. Its been growing for a fucking year now and when fall came around it didn't flower directly because it had no time to be 12\12. Its spring now and its health is going uphill. I took the plant and i have it under a 250w cfl 18\6 back to veg. Its been about 2 days now under new surveilance. Minimal green growth. I do not know what to do?! Also wanting to transplant into better soil. Waiting for present soil to dry out.... Any help from any pros???!
PS the plant had also suffered a tragic accident! One half was split apart from the main stalk but was taped off an saved.
Thanks

Wow this is the newbie section.... Obviously it's weed kids. All I wanted to know was if I should try and veg until it's healthy then flower it properly or like dude said trash it cuz it's a waste of time.... Sorry if I was unclear at first.

personally I would scrap it as even if you get it to flower, I doubt it would produce much yield or quality

anyhow, very interesting plant, hope things work out better next grow :)

I've fought uphill battles with some plants before and learned its easier to have a healthy plant from the start without issues than it is to stay onboard a sinking ship and try to save it.

start from seed and avoid stress from being rootbound, improper ph, over and underwatering etc and before you know it you'll have a nice bush without problems to fix

peace and happy growing ✌

Real quick!!! What's root bound mean? Roots getting too big for pot?
And thank yaw very much. I will probably end up letting go ): but I guess it would be a waste if yaw are right. But thanks again I'll be back on sometime.

yeah man routbound is when your roots circle the bottom of the pot as they run out of space can cause an array of issues at least in my experience..

but good luck brother hope to see you around the forums ✌

Root bound is when they straight up have nowhere to grow and grow into themselves. The roots start fighting each other for space and nobody wins. The plant will basically stall and stop growing until it has space for the roots to go.
