so basally a non-answer, just insults? Can you admit you just got pwoned for lying?

Disabilities Education Act part c is for age 0 through 2. Which I thought you were crediting obama for since it was under his watch yet signed by Bush and since he didn't get his budget.

I agree with you about Ron Paul also, I have said that over and over since the begging.

"I think I will take advantage of the things he has done"

such as? Credit Card protection and a worthless plastic card for your teen daughter while millions are dieing and in private owned prisons for victimless crimes? GO getem tiger.

"Its a shame that you don't want women to receive fair pay "

Sure do but how many will get that because of Obama's thing? Like 12...its a political stunt ..You do your homework :p
do tell in what I lied about ?? Obama has always supported the FULL funding of Individual Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)......again look at his budget proposal and then look what this congress has done to make it not happen. I don't blame Obama for this I blame Congress..again please do your homework.

You keep thinking he has done nothing..I will continue to take advantage of what he has done. Sorry that you disagree. Please don't take your frustration of Ron Paul out of the race on me. You asked a question I gave you my honest answer. Given the choices of Obama and Romney, its easy for me to support Obama.

Maybe he makes more than 250k a year.

Is it any different than republicans that claim to cut taxes for the poor and middle class while at the same time removing tax deductions?
I think the only difference is you get to say that without being called racist.

lol you think Romney wrote Romney care? Both of the other branches were dominatingly democrat. He was able to work with those across the aisle to get something done that the people of his state wanted. Meanwhile Obama had to lie, bribe and threaten his OWN party to agree against the wishes of the majority of Americans. Huge difference.

I've defended Romney twice in this thread, brb, going to shower. If we are going to discuss this, let's at least keep it honest.
Get your facts straight. It was proposed to Romney by the Heritage Foundation, a Republican think tank. I never said he wrote it. All I said is that he supported it and implemented it.

From an independent point of view, it seems as if the Democrats reached across the aisle. They saw something the republicans came up with, agreed with it, and implemented it on a national level thinking it would be widely popular.

Again, since the Republicans now hate the idea, just because Obama supports it, shows how crass and political they are.

Interestingly, the Heritage foundation came up with cap and trade as well, and you know how republicans love that cap and trade.

Belay that - it seems to be a liberal myth.

lol.

Well its a fact the heritage foundation was responsible for Romney/Obama care. http://www.forbes.com/sites/aroy/2011/10/20/how-a-conservative-think-tank-invented-the-individual-mandate/

Its funny, even on the front page of the heritage website, they call for the repeal of Romney/Obama care.

Politics. Its all a bunch of politics.

I do not claim otherwise in the case of the affordable care law. Life is politics, let no man with a family contend otherwise, the sooner we accept that the sooner we can deal with those politics efficiently.

The one thing I can't stand about many of the progressives calling themselves the "99%" is they're really the 49% that don't pay a damn thing in income taxes but hide under the veil of the 51% that do!

Let's be honest, there is no 99%, it's the 51% that pay their fare share and more, vs the 49% that leech of the tax payers.

The problem here is with the presumption of "fair share". What is that? do we simply leave it to our government to determine what is "fair"? You aren't saying that the 49 percent are all progressives are you?

As far as "leaching" is concerned, we know that people make various amounts of money and pay various amounts of taxes. I may well make more than you and I may well pay more taxes than you, does that mean that you are leaching from me because you don't pay "your fair share"? with respect to me?

This is simple bro, why are you so confused?
If someone pays $ZERO in federal income taxes, they are leeching of the tax payers, no matter what bracket the tax payer is in, it's as simple as that. If I'm not mistaken, OWS is the group that made the "99%" term a household name and yes, most of them are progressives and leeches.

LMAO Dude you call what you want, if you are that clueless that you don't know almost half of the American tax filers pay ZERO in federal income tax, then you need to do some research and come back when you're armed with some knowledge! LOL

I don't know if it's 50%, but then again I wouldn't be surprised at all. I know I didn't pay any federal income tax this year, myself.

The more not paying the merrier, I say. If it's 50%, well that's just great... lets make it 75%. This system & country are beyond fucked. We need a full fledged default, and the sooner the better.

All I know is it's not my job to continue paying these taxes for what is a robbed and broken system. It's also certainly not my job to pay inevitably higher taxes, to fix the system that was both blatantly robbed, and inadvertently bankrupted via ignorance/negligence. The only entity that has an ethical obligation here in doing a job, is the government, and that job is to default.

No, this is a simple way to distract from the comparison. If I pay more in taxes than you do, and it is likely, then you are leaching off of me. Why is that different than someone paying zero taxes leaching off of you? Three people are at a bar, one doesn't pay for his three drinks, you pay for one drink and I pay for the rest. The guy who got his three drinks for free leached off of me but so did you.

I asked if THE 99 percent, not the ows was progressive but if you believed that the 49 percent was progressive, namely, that conservatives were the only ones who pay taxes. An awful lot of conservatives I talk to seem to think that while at the same time railing against limo liberals. so which is it?

so if you didn't pay fed taxes then you are leaching off of me, now how can you justify that?

I don't like to view it as a theft from you directly, because really it's not. I guess it could be, but when you logically think about it, the government is stealing more from you, in a more direct fashion, than I am when I don't pay income tax.

How do I justify it? Well...

I like to think of it as, I will not ever see my Social Security, so I'm just taking back what is mine to begin with, and that's my own money that would have otherwise been saved for retirement, if the government hadn't taken it from me to begin with. I'm perfectly capable of saving my own money, I don't need the government setting up my retirement finances for me. If I have to steal from the government to financially disconnect them from my retirement, I will do so.

It's not my right to live a life beyond which I can afford, just so that I can rely on SS during retirement, and take more from SS than I put in. That's what we call an unethical pyramid-scheme practice, so I figure I'm being more so ethical, in saving what I'm obligated in saving for, and that is retirement. Even though I have to commit a form of theft, the greater good of that theft, outweighs what would otherwise be my unethical burden on society through the SS system. I guess in such situation, I'm essentially stealing from the SS beneficiaries and/or the government, both of which I will gladly agree to do, since both parties are essentially committing theft through that very same SS system.

This twisted logic makes so many assumptions its ridiculous. You obliviously do not know how SS works. It is not a pyramid scheme, no matter what Rush says.

Look up what a pyramid scheme is, then look up what SS is.
